Please tell me this is NOT acceptable in the society that you want to live and raise children in.

Corey was by all evidence a GOOD kid, who stole some wine coolers and DID NOT by ANY decent measure of justice, deserve to die for it!

They were not being "Good Samaritans"!

and...

if you think that these three men were justified in killing Corey, then you are either ignorant of what is REALLY going on in Milw. Co and the world, or you are simply part of the problem.

Nobody intended this young man to die, Justice. That's the nature of positional asphyxia. A few years ago one of my son's friends went a bit berserk and ran off madly down the road, indicating he would hurt himself, and another friend found him, grabbed him and held him and that boy's mother came in a car to help out subduing this boy. The boy was face down in the grass and the other was sitting on his back to make sure he didn't get up and run off again, awaiting the boy's mother to arrive to help. The boy who was on the bottom couldn't breathe and neither the boy on top nor his mother had any idea. I showed up, and separated the two immediately while the boy on the bottom began gasping for air. I think he would have been dead in another 20 seconds.

What I'm saying is, no one intended Corey to die. it's easy to miss when this happens. The men believed Corey had finally just given up resisting.

And for me, I want to live in neighborhoods where men don't just stand around while teenagers rob stores and get away with it. No one punched him, kicked him, etc., and they certainly didn't intend to kill him.

But like a lot of men their age, they're sick and dang tired of punks who steal and run and no one has the brass to stop them.

The case of a teenage boy who died after being restrained following a shoplifting incident is back under review. West Allis police on Wednesday, December 28th confirmed they're taking a look at new information presented in connection with Corey Stingley's death.

"I've just gone over it and over it again," Craig Stingley said. "Honestly, it`s been one of the most difficult things I`ve ever had to do."

Stingley's father said he's been reviewing evidence in his son's death. He said he found some things he believes were overlooked -- and now, investigators are taking another look at the case.

"It is information that pertains to the injuries that my son sustained," Craig Stingley said.
