I checked into the note "belmot kedzie" and that is an intersection in Chicago, IL. Also, 2860 Lincoln Ave is also in Chicago. I think he either a) has roots around Chicago, or b) ended up in Chicago. Plus, the car was stolen in Chicago. Not sure where he was heading in the vehicle. The fact that he had bags of women's clothing poses questions:
*Was he helping a friend move?
*Was he homeless, with a female?
*Were the clothes brand new or worn?
*Were the clothes stolen? (Being that the car was stolen, I'm not saying JD was a thief, because who knows what really happened, but it's worth looking into.)
*Were the clothes the same size (indicating the same person) or were there multiple sizes (in varying degrees)?
Also, I agree with others that he looks like he could have been foreign. There's a chance he was from another country and ended up in Chicago. His handwriting is in English, but it kind of resembled that of someone who was struggling to write, lacking "flow". But that is just a theory, not a definite of course. What do you all think on his handwriting?
Regarding the lighter, if he was a thief, which isn't confirmed, there is a big chance he could have stolen that lighter. Either that or maybe he is involved with theft friends. That is probably why he was never given a name. He was caught in a stolen car, which is why he was on the run, most likely. He likely didn't want to get caught and go to jail. Or, maybe he had a friend with him who survived the crash and ran out, with no one seeing him/her. Maybe JD was trying to escape the police because he was a victim too and was told to speed up to avoid cops. I wonder if the witnesses to this crash are still around. If anyone knew of JD's crimes (like car theft) he/she probably wouldn't want to identify him, because that would be like ratting him and his affiliated crew out, and then if they rat him out, they're also ratting others out (because cops would draw the links), and no one wants to tell on someone. Someone out there, I truly believe, has seen his picture and recognizes him. I just wish they would come forward. I'm a stranger, and even I am trying to identify him. It may be dangerous and risky, though, so I can understand if someone doesn't want to say anything. Also, refer to my other post about someone who claimed they recognized him.
His family, if he had any, is probably left wondering. But, then again, how did they not see his case? I wrote a post months ago about how I think he was mistakenly linked to another case. So there's also the chance no one has recognized him yet, and that no one is looking for him yet.
