WI WI - Donald John Young, 23, Lone Rock, 11 July 1979

.
A lot of farms use front end loaders, which can easily move (and bury a body). I'm with you and AirForceVet24, though, Donald is probably buried on nearby property or on the suspect's own land.

According to this science article, some cadaver dogs can detect human remains hundreds and thousands of years old, depending on their training.

Thank you for posting that article @Quoththeraven, I decided to look up the name Emil Scwanz with the idea that maybe we could perhaps get an idea of where Donald and Edward lived based upon where Emil lived since they were neighbors. Sadly, I could find a few listings for Emil and it was only birth records. Still though, I think this paints the picture that something happened to Edward in 1977, were seeing violence against his father, his neighbor and then his connection to Donald all in a short time frame.

In that state of mind in the article above, I doubt he would have had the patience or wherewithall to bury his brother. Would it be possible someone buried the body for him to cover it up? Maybe they are still alive.

Maybe? I can see what your saying. But at the same time, in my opinion he did it on his own and it would have been real easy to put Donald in a burn file or bury him using a tractor.

Somewhere along the line they mangled his last name. Should be Emil P. Schwantz.
