I had my husband look at the pics. He zoomed in and determined that the side beams are supporting wooden joists. There is a 2x4 underneath each joist. He said that that type of support is used to reinforce a concrete (or metal) ceiling. A wooden ceiling/floor would require more joists. He also noticed a large black hole on the right, top of the ceiling...possibly ventilation. He suggests that this could be a room under a garage or an underground bunker.

There's another large black hole just behind his shoulder, but it looks like it has something in the middle. Can he zoom in to see that? I wish I had the software to do such things.

Obviously, if he's at an ATM location, it wouldn't be located in a basement. So, it could be one or the other. But I don't think that apparatus behind him on the right looks like a gas pump. I wonder why he'd be walking up to the ATM rather than driving ... if it was a drive up as was suggested.

Maybe a ventilation fan? We have one in our ceiling, and it looks like a dark hole with a light center where the axis of the blades are.

Is that machine thing a slot machine? The old fashioned kind? It also looks like a money counter (like suggested previously)

I do think that he is bending over.... almost like leaning in to the window of a car? What you see behind him is where the wall meets the ceiling/roof. Could that be a parking meter of some sort? If he was leaning towards a car, it could be that close to an older style parking meter.

The original pic is at it's full size. I've made it larger, lightened it and sharpened it. But the bigger it gets the more distorted it becomes.

Though it does look like this, I'm thinking that if the pic was taken by an ATM, I doubt there would be an old, broken gas pump at the location.

There is a logo on the front of the machine, I have used all the programs I have to try to clarify it but will try again tomorrow. I recognize it by shape but can't remember where I've seen it. Anyone else recognize it by shape?

Another poster, who may be here later, responded to my PM and said it might be a lathe or similar equipment. This poster works with wood and is familiar with lathes and such.

The original pic is at it's full size. I've made it larger, lightened it and sharpened it. But the bigger it gets the more distorted it becomes.

To the left of the photo, as another member pointed out, is a support jack, they are available at most big box stores such as Lowes', HomeDepot etc. Above his head appears to be the subframe from an automobile and to the right of the picture above his head looks like the underside of a car trunk lid.
The piece of equipment to the right looks industrial in nature and may be an old fashioned metal lathe. My guess would be wherever he is, it is underground, thus the support jack. The car trunk lid makes me think it is something fabricated by somone. JMHO judging by what I can get from the grainy photo.

This is an unbearably tricky situation for LE which makes me believe sheer desparation is causing them to reach out. If the person/presumed adult figures out that the child is going to be identified or that the child reached out in a moment of opportunity, the consquences are going to be severe I would think.

If this child is underground, let's hope ICE has an idea of where. I mean, at some point someone has to have the skillset to dig and do this.

These pictures/videos were taken from the floor. That machine behind him has to either be on a talk table or it's a very tall machine...
I hope that makes sense.

I have been around tool and die and lathe machines my whole life. This does not look like anything I have ever seen. It isn't very big like those machines usually are. I see an odd coin slot on top. I think that it is a piece of a bigger machine that we can't see.
