Was Jamal with someone when he was abducted?

ETA - answering my own question. He was not with anyone, apparently just riding his bike in the neighborhood when abducted.

The fact that a gun was used to kidnap a very small child raises all kinds of alarms with me. Abductions by strangers are still fairly uncommon, but if it was a custody matter, I don't think the party would be unknown to the boy and a gun wouldn't have been necessary. This article lists a bit more of a physical description/clothing for the POI. Amber Alert issued for 7-year-old Jamal White, abducted in Milwaukee

I’m so scared for this sweet boy! Praying so hard for his safety and that he is able to come home to his family!

Read the comments on the silver car seen in the video.

Wonder if the abductor knew Jamal’s Dad? Any possibility other than a stranger abduction is a better scenario - hoping so anyway.

No updates--but much frustration, unfortunately! As is typical in Wisconsin, the state's DCI did not approve the Amber Alert in a timely manner in regard to this child. Jamal was abducted at gunpoint at around 7pm yesterday evening by an individual in a known vehicle, which they had on video--but as of 10pm when the local news was reporting on his disappearance, no statewide Amber Alert had been issued. I was watching Milwaukee's WISN (Ch. 12), and noticed they'd posted on their website that the MPD had submitted the case for approval of the Amber Alert but were waiting to hear back from DCI. When the alert was finally enacted, I did not receive the phone notification about it until well after midnight--more than 5 hours after the abduction. By that time, most people were probably in bed and weren't aware of the situation. Furthermore, the perpetrator had a huge head start and could have driven to any of the surrounding states. It is terribly frustrating for our citizens that the Amber Alert system is so slow. When a vulnerable 7-year-old is witnessed being taken at gunpoint by someone in a known vehicle in broad daylight, what more information does the DCI need in order to determine the child's life is in danger and that the assistance of the public is needed? We've had so many cases like this in recent years. Jayme Closs was another example of a bungled response to a child abduction in our state. Jayme was discovered to be missing from a home where both of her parents were found to be victims of homicide--but the Amber Alert wasn't enacted for nearly 24 hours after she'd been taken. The only way things will change is if the families of these children sue the state for neglect of duty. There should be accountability--especially if a child is found deceased, or like Jayme, held against his/her will for any length of time. To be clear, It is NOT the fault of the local police departments that this happens. Officers have also expressed frustration that the DCI's unwillingness to enact Amber Alerts as quickly as possible is making their job to serve and protect much more difficult. I sure hope this child is located and is safe, but he has already been failed, and that is heartbreaking!

Same in the Erin Brunett case out of Loranger, Daniel Callihan was actually spotted with the girls at a tire shop. A timely AA could have saved Erin’s life.

I don't believe this was a "stranger" (to the boy at least) NOR random. Doesn't make it any less dangerous for this poor child, however.

I can think of some possibilities that may not result in loss of life. THAT is what I’m holding on too for Jamal.

The video and sound are very disturbing. The white jeep waits a few seconds before turning and accelerating.
I agree that this does not seem a random act.

We didn't get the alert until after 11pm.

The boy’s aunt tells 12 News four men, all with guns and wearing face masks, abducted the boy. She says his father was nearby at the time of the abduction as they were coming home from the nearby park.

“My brother was able to pull in the driveway and they jumped out right here,” said Simone White. “I’m talking about one person pointing a gun to the window, the other person targeting my nephew. I feel like y’all had enough opportunity to do something to my brother, but he wasn’t the target. It just doesn’t seem like that. My brother wasn’t the target.”

White says the family doesn’t know the men in the white jeep.

Many are asking the same thing!! Took that long to vet the information, as we often see 😡

So the grey car was the dad apparently - IMO
