Missing 7-year-old Jamal White has been found safe, Milwaukee police confirm

Police say White was taken at gunpoint from outside his residence July 11 by an unknown man in a black face mask.

Sun peeked through the clouds at the intersection of 39th and Lloyd on Milwaukee's northwest side around 7 p.m., as a large number of residents gathered after the news that White had been found. Police tape blocked off the 2040 block of 39th St. and several officers were observed. Nikki Harrington, one of White’s cousins, said she was excited and relieved when she found out White was found alive. She said family received a tip, notified police and immediately went to the area. Harrington said White was being checked out at a hospital. She said she did not have any information about what had occurred and that the family would wait for the police department to conduct an investigation. “We appreciate the community,” Harrington said. “It was definitely a team effort.”

I’m so grateful that this precious child has been found and is safe. I hope that the police will not rest until the men who did this are found and held accountable. I also hope that there is a public outcry in this community over the fact that an Amber Alert was not immediately issued. Change needs to be made!

Jamal White, Missing 7-Year-Old Allegedly Abducted at Gunpoint in Milwaukee, Found Less Than 24 Hours Later

Jamal White was found less than 24 hours after he was allegedly 'taken at gunpoint' outside his Milwaukee home on July 11, Milwaukee police said.

Milwaukee police arrested three men at homes connected to the kidnapping of a seven-year-old . A 25-year-old male was taken into custody at the residence where Jamal White was located. Two other males were arrested at the residence where Jamal was kidnapped from.

A 25-year-old was arrested at the home where Jamal was discovered, while police also made arrests of two people at the home from which White was abducted.

The person arrested where White was found, in the 2000 block of N. 39th St., was arrested July 12 at 5:45 p.m. and is in custody for a probation violation.

One of the two people arrested at the home from which White was taken was being held on tentative charges of resisting and obstructing, and the other was being held on a tentative charge of 2nd degree recklessly endangering safety. Both are 27 years old.

indeed. Were they part of the crime that led to the boy being taken? Or where they uncooperative with the investigation after Jamal was taken. They are similar in age to the young man arrested at the household where Jamal was later found. Was there some beef between the one and the two? Will be interesting to find out what was behind this whole thing.

Maybe because 2 of the people they were going to arrest lived in the home he was kidnapped from? Does that mean it was Dad's home and his roommates were involved with the kidnapping?
