Waaait.
look closer at the photo. @Quoththeraven
James isn’t in the shot that we can see. Is there video of him getting into it with the lights on that I haven’t seen?

This was taken right as he left the house. You can see it in the above video.

For some reason that link to spectrumnews1.com didn't show up in my post. Here it is again. James leaving the house with his bags and going toward the car which is already running with its lights on.

Ok we need to figure out if that type of car can come with remote start. But I wonder if that isn’t just a reflection, there’s a light in front of the garage doot aimed down. And night vision cameras make certain surfaces light up, like an animal's eyes. Not sure about tail lights

Here's a source that says less than 1% of runaway teens never return. I assume that also includes "...or are never found," in worst case scenarios.

Of course that's only a general statistic, not news about this particular case. But if we believe this source, it at least hints that sooner or later, the question of what happened to James will more likely than not be answered.

There’s aftermarket remote starts you can add.

I think it looks like a reflection, too. The lights aren't where they should be or the shape I'd expect.

I’m not good with car details - my husband and son can typically identify the kind of car by it’s headlights /taillights, while the best I can say is what color it is!

To me it looks like the car is parked facing the garage door and the bigger, brighter light could be the back license plate and the smaller round light to the right could be a taillight or backup light. If it’s a backup light, someone else would have been in the vehicle.

Agree it looks like a reflection. Plus there is no way to tell if the car is running from the photo.

The car in front of a door, to the left, is a sedan, if I'm recognizing well. James drove away with Papa's van, as far as I know.
ETA: In addition, James is leaving the place, where the car to the left is parked. It can't be the car, he planned to drive himself.

There were human remains found by hunters recently in Rock County, WI. They have not released much information to date. This would be about 80 - 90 miles from where James disappeared so probably not related but then again..........

Sorry, been a long time since I've posted a link and fear of messing it up is preventing my doing so.

It's over an hour drive, but most of it is a straight shot down I-90

That's a very good likelihood. Some family will soon have some answers as well as more questions.....

I might be the only person who gets excited when there's human remains found, because I know it will hurt, but it will give families at least some answers and closure.

No, actually I think that you're in good company here. There's a lot more of us here that are of the same mind.
