Sauk County 20-year-old reported missing

The Sauk County Sheriff's Office said 20-year-old Jamie L. Goodyear was last seen on Thanksgiving Day and hasn't been to work since then, either.

She sent a message via Facebook Friday afternoon, but hasn't been heard from since, according to the report.

Jamie is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and roughly 180 pounds. She has dyed red hair and multiple tattoos, according to the report. She also is reported to walk with a limp on occasion.

Police said she may be in the Dodgeville area in the company of people her family and friends don't know named Dominic, Sarah or Amy.

Are you sure she's missing? I've looked at the Sauk County Sheriff's office fb page and website and don't see this anywhere. I've also checked out her family's fb pages and the local newspapers and there's nothing on this. If you do a google search the only place this comes up is on that one site.

I don’t know. Not all LE Facebook pages post missing persons. I hope there will be an update if she‘s found.

It's odd that there no other news agency is covering this. Her mother has just now put up a post on FB. Usually these kinds of things are in newspapers and other news stations as well.

The county website states that she was last heard from through a message the day after Thanksgiving. They also state that she is a drug user.

Deputies said Wednesday afternoon that Goodyear has been found and is safe.

"We consider this matter closed with no further investigation necessary," officials said in a release. "We thank the public for the information that was passed along to us during this investigation."
