I’m so sorry you have had trauma. It changes your life. It’s been fascinating to learn how the brain ‘rewires’ itself to fold in completely benign things and then those things trip the ptsd triggers. Really weird stuff. It’s different for everyone. The phone ringing is 1 of mine. My attack and rape had nothing to do with a phone. It’s really fascinating. Thank God there’s good help. Jayme will need every ounce of it, brave girl.
Others are associated directly with the abuse, IE: Paul Harvey on the car radio almost every time. I know she will recover like I did and it sounds like you did and have a good life. But also glad I don't have to hear that kind man's voice on a car radio now though I know he was a well respected man-just a trigger of mine. This struck me as I saw an MSM post earlier that the Sheriff was having comm troubles via cell phone. Wondering if they had any electricity there since it might have been signed back over to the bank or foreclosed on, and no running water which is why that sweet girls hair was "unkempt".

Most homes in country have wells for water. Many rely on fireplaces for heat. Electricity is the issue......unless he illegally connected his electric meter to a neighbors......i've heard of people doing this.

Don’t most wells need electric for the pump though?

I haven't found a picture either. I'm hoping news media will release some when the investigators leave.

And what happens if they cut ur WiFi? Most have these days and RELY on it. Sorry, I go old school! Gimme Wild West over modern technology any day!
I'm not trying to get on your case, and that's great if you're Sarah Connor, but having been in the security business I can tell you that the overwhelming majority of average people aren't.

The lack of criminal history surprised me at first....but now I'm thinking of all the school shooters - they don't have criminal backgrounds either, but spent time plotting their crimes. I think this case has more in common with those criminals rather than a perp with a history of escalating violent crimes.

And I agree with the incel theory - at this point, this perp seems to fit that profile (subject to change as we learn more about him).

My reference point is the Marines, and that’s a minimum of 4 years.

He just wreaks of “failure to adapt.” I just can’t believe he made it any length of time, let alone an entire enlistment (if he served).

ETA: I just googled it, and 2 years is apparently a possibility.
Not sure where the military talk is coming in. Is there a post with a link?

Jeffrey Dahmer's parents moved out of the house and left him behind when he was 18 years old.
THIS came to my mind too!!!!!

I could’ve sworn there was a mention in MSM he has people over to the cabin and put her in a hiding spot, but can’t find it now.

Yes. The article said she was hidden away or locked up whenever people came over

I wouldn't be surprised if he's on the autistic spectrum.
People with autism very rarely commit violent crimes, at least as far as I know. We don't really know anything about him yet. The only thing I can assume is that he is one messed up, pathetic and twisted individual. Which doesn't fit at all with autism. Imo

No. I’ve mentioned it atleast 10 times, we have heard nothing about any military service thus far.

Oh his DNA is going to be entered.

I’m sure there are previous crimes, but this very well might have been his first violent one.

You’re right, it’s a hell of a leap to go from nothing, to a crime like this.
Agree 100%! Even juveniles have to enter dna and fingerprints for certain offenses. Something’s been up with this guy for a while. Very odd family situation too with him and brother staying at this house after parent moved. I understand the brother moved a while ago too. Odd.

In the story The Lovely Bones, the murderer is a neighbour but watches from afar, at the mall etc, and finds out her walking home route. Maybe JP watched from afar like that.

I thought the sheriff said the house had both water and electricity. Is that not the case?

People were wondering how he paid for it if the suspect didn't have a regular job.

Yes. We have well water (not really that rural an area, but still have it) and when the power goes out, we also lose water. If someone forgets and flushes the toilet, we lose water immediately.
