I've asked this but I don't know that anyone took me seriously. I AM SERIOUS, :).

Is it coincidence or design that JP worked at 2 food production companies and was trying to get a job in a liquor warehouse?

I'm asking: Is there a possible personal fixation on food ( or maybe poisoning mass parts of the population, who knows?) , or is that part of WI just heavy in food production?

Probably a coincidence. When you look at job opportunities in that area, you see a lot of manufacturing and food production places.

Did we get find out if those pictures in the DM were recent pictures or old pictures of his sister's room and other parts of the house? I have a hard time imagining him playing board games with her. I don't remember seeing it in any other source or any other word about where he kept her except under his own bed in his bedroom. Imo

It is so highly unlikely that HE'S played Monopoly in years..if ever.

She was not a PERSON to him, she was a THING. HIS POSSESSION. * In his mind, not in reality of course*

I do not think there's ANY possibility that he played a true game like Monopoly with her.

Psychopaths cannot relate to others in any personal way like that.
You have to give and take, talk, laugh, communicate in a game, and this one is long. There's just no way I think he could or would play any true game with her or anyone else either.

This is likely a leftover from his brother's time there. The messy old house is like a time capsule from what we can see.

Thank you to those who answered about the food production industry in WI and JP's coincidental landing at 2 and trying for 3rd.
I really appreciate it.

He wouldn't have kept the job if he got it. Unfortunately, the job he held the longest and was most successful at was stalking, killing, kidnapping, and hiding humans.

Yes, and even then he was relieved of duty due to the strength and will of a 13 year old girl wanting to survive, and thank God she did. Talk about "incongruent" JTP once again failed! .. Jayme is my new little hero.

Sry Betsy I was being analogous. I do think she spent a significant time unbound in this losers "cabin".

I think it’s just percentages

Take all the jobs in 120 mile radius

Cops... that’s a no go
Fireman that’s a no go
Teacher. That’s a no go
Nurse. That’s a no go

He’s basically down to jobs that have high turnover and no a hard filter...
I don’t think he wants jobs... but wants disability or keep up charade..
Suprised he
Didn’t become Uber driver... but that would leave digital trail..

Yes and to add and have said before "Dear ole Auntie Bee dropped him on his head when he was a baby"

My mother dropped me down a flight of stairs when I was nine months old, and I haven’t killed anyone. But I am a little dippy sometimes.

I mean, they had nothing to work with. A couple of dead parents, both shot with a shotgun, and a missing girl.

You’re right, that would probably be interpreted as a rage killing (even with the kidnapping).

If you were to take 100 situations like this, almost all of them would be motivated by a personal grievance, it’s an incredibly safe bet.

This was just a spectacularly unusual crime.

I agree. I had wondered, too, if the murder and abduction was over some kind of grudge against the Closs family. I thought of the Liknes family murders in Calgary in 2014. Garland carried a "petty grudge" for years against the couple, but also murdered their five-year-old grandson who had nothing to do with the dispute. No understanding the "logic" of any of these monsters!

It might be that he would think they wouldn't check into references as carefully? The blatant lies regarding his work history makes it seem like he was playing with the company, seeing if they would catch him. Or maybe setting it up so they'd fire him and then he wouldn't have to work? I'm sure there was some kind of arrangement about him working, with his parents.
Maybe he applied to the liquor place because it gave him an excuse to live in the cabin?
It is odd, though, that all three places were food related. Maybe that was his next plan, scope places out and find the perfect situation to harm more people.

In my experience, the jobs you listed are college degree level careers.
He could possibly do some Internet jobs from home.
BUT, HE'D BE COMPELLED TO STALK AND KILL AGAIN AND AGAIN! HE COULD NOT HOLD ANY JOB NOR WOULD HE WANT TO.

I recall that Ted Bundy worked on a suicide phone hotline with the late true crime writer, Ann Rule. This was when he was committing crimes in the PNW.
Probably before most of you were born...

I remember when the connection was made about his volunteerism like it was yesterday. Have you determined why he was there yet?

He was seeking new female victims from the callers... Would get their names and phone numbers and check them out. I do not know if any became his victims.

I can see JP doing something like that, except he'd say " Jump, a fairy will catch you" or " Yeah, your life blows. Now, about that shotgun you say you're staring at"... No one would be listening today like Ann Rule was!!..

I know who he's reminding me of, an early version of Terry Peder Rasmussen.
It's the lying on the job app. He lied about his dates of service and how long , he lied about the companies he worked for, he even lied about his high school graduation.
Was he trying to create a new person with a different history?
Was that his next thing, to disappear himself and recreate a new person?
Why lie about every detail about who you are?

exactly. and the first 2 years is the crucial time for bonding. lack of bonding
What this article on child psychopaths failed to relate is=
what was the child's life like before it was adopted.
Birth through 2 yrs. old, the baby is learning much about
his world- whether caretakers are kind and respond to helpless
baby's needs or neglectful and allow baby to cry in the crib.

Birth through 2 yrs, many neural pathways are growing (or not)
and forming based on the kind of attention and care baby
received. There is a direct correlation between a truly well
cared for baby and a neglected infant laying in a crib soothing
itself because no one in it's world cares. The correlation is in
how the brain develops with healthy neural pathways or not.
Babies in orphanages or hospital settings are emotionally
neglected. Left for hours in a crib trying to self sooth without
a nurturing mother to soothe them. So even by 2 yrs. old,
the baby's brain may be behind developmentally and may be
on it's way to becoming a maladjusted child.
My experience and mOO.

Just a quick note, it is a long article, but there was one brief paragraph that mentioned that she was in foster care, during the first 2 years, and had no delays, when she was adopted. One doctor, out of many, explored the possibility that she might have reactive attachment disorder, from lack of bonding, but she ended up with the diagnosis of uncallous traits and lack of empathy not a diagnosis of RAD.

I'd like to think so, but I really doubt it. We may never know for Jayme's privacy and if that's how they make it, we can choose best case scenario and hope we were right. :)

Or maybe he just looked for jobs that did not require a lot of education. I doubt he had to try too hard to not get hired. Or to get fired, for that matter. Imo

IMO "these types of folks" lie simply for their own personal gain.

IMO. Because you don’t like who you are.

When you think about it, a real case in point with a true psychopath in that even Ann was taken in. Remember she tried to work out a deal on his behalf to have him sent to a mental hospital instead of receiving the death penalty and even sent him money while he was in prison.
