1:03 - possible suicide attempt
I Thought we have gone over this a hundred times already. There were no guns at the scene (we know this) so that is not why. We also know that it wasn't a suicide. If you think it matters so much then you have to put a few scenarios in your head and go with a theory because we just don't know, we were not there. Maybe one day the officers involved will do an interview and let us know but until then, a general consensus has been made by a few of us that the responding officers seen a body and that was how it looked as they were approaching the stairs. Once they reached the body, that changed their narrative.
1:04 - apparent suicide
This is not another officer (or even the same officer) saying apparent suicide. This is the actual dispatcher saying that she is paging Barron EMS for an apparent suicide, based on what the first responder told her.
Exactly, the "suicide" description is simply a call for EMS. They had a body and had done no investigation at that point. The fact that the called in the kicked in door a couple of minutes later tells you they hadn't even approached the door at that point.

Right. So if they havent reached the door, and the body was inside the door, WHAT made him think this was an attempted suicide? Thats my question.

If the tape was released...within an hour there would be altered versions in youtube claiming all sorts of nonsense...some people still believe Paul is dead fifty years later...

There's even a book exploring the whole Paul is dead thing. The one thing that amazed me was someone figured out if you put a graphic on a Beatles record up to a mirror the reflection ended up being a phone number in the UK and if you called it, it played a recording of Beatle sounds and nonsense for a few weeks after the record came out before it got disconnected. I mean, who would figure that out? I'm getting the idea all it did is contribute to their bottom line.

That being said, yeah, you never know -unless they officially release a recording people can upload anything they like: there's even a fake 911 call of the Closs situation that someone made probably just to get a lot of hits on their site.

Not true. It was officer 329, NOT the dispatcher, who very first mentioned the word suicide, followed by 'attempt'.

Jethrow4ws explains this in detail on page 11 of this thread.
I didn't say 329 did not say that, I said the 1:04 apparent suicide was from the dispatcher paging Barron EMS

Exactly. I believe the suicide situation was suggested by the officer based on what he saw from his car, the body lying in the doorway. Three minutes after that he is calling in with new info about the door being kicked in. Then again, a few minutes later, about finding a second body.
I guess it could happen but i don't think many people commit suicide in their open doorways... and it doesn't seem safe to me for first responders to assume a potential suicide over homicide when they just see a dead body laying down.... I would think their first assumption would be to be on guard in case someone violent is still in the area. so that statement still floats in the back of my head as odd.

Right. So if they havent reached the door, and the body was inside the door, WHAT made him think this was an attempted suicide? Thats my question.
Experience? Who knows? Doesn't seem likely that he would label it a murder at that point. Possibly he could see blood and assumed self inflicted?

We know it wasn’t suicide, of course, but was it that there was a shot to the head that the officer initially observed? So then, could he have been shot through the door? I suppose...

And, the officer said “door kicked in” and said “victim answered door” so which one is it?

This looks like a webcam image to me, but she is also wearing the same clothing from this shot previously released. They're listed as "undated."

329 also made the 1:04 call-out for an apparent suicide.

329 made both statements

Likely just video of the highway. Dozens and dozens of cars. Once they have a suspect and know what type of car they drive, they can look at that video and likely identify the car heading to and from the crime.
That is something the prosecution might want should they bring someone to trial. If they identify a suspect they wouldn't need any of the videos nor the video they are allegedly piecing together in order to track them down.

One would think that the purpose of the exercise is to try to come up with a suspect, isolate one specific vehicle, identify any stretch of road where the vehicle may have stopped (based on not appearing on the next camera in the direction of travel in the expected time), actually anything that they might be able to share with the public to generate tips that might lead them to a suspect. But apparently that is not the purpose.

Since they don't have any suspects, law enforcement's efforts should be directed towards finding one.

This photo can be found on the Sheriff's web site in a post on October 16th around 5pm where they released more recent photos of Jayme. Her cousin had posted photos of Jayme, including one taken outside wearing these same clothes, about 10 hours after the murders. One of the Minnesota stations had that outdoor photo. In that photo the trees were visible and they looked just like you saw on October 15th and there was a small amount of snow on the ground visible (it had snowed a bit overnight from October 13th to 14th). So, these photos are very likely to have been taken at the party less than 12 hours prior to the murders.

Also doesnt seem likely to call it a suicide without something giving him reason to believe thats what it was a possiblity.

Ok so yes, Blood is a possible sign. So ... IF there was blood, that could answer other questions for us such as where (location) he was shot, etc.

I dont know why im having such trouble making this point. ...the officer suspected attempted suicide before he even knew anyone was dead. He saw something. But what did he see? And could that something tell us anything?

Thank You.This party was for Denise's Nephew?
Yes. But it was actually a grand-nephew (if that is a thing) since it was Denise's niece or nephews child.
