I like this approach of thinking about what they aren't doing. To get things started:
LE isn't requesting the public's help in identifying a witness/person(s) of interest/suspect. In the Delphi murders, you have the video/pics of Bridge Guy. In Hania's case, you have the video of the guy walking in the area the hour prior to her abduction. In both cases, LE has appealed to the public for help in identifying the individuals in the videos/pics. Not in this case.
LE isn't asking the public to keep an eye out for certain items of clothing. In Hania's case, LE recently posted pictures of Hania's shoes and asked the public to keep an eye out for them. Granted the shoes are unique. Nothing in this case about what Jayme may have been wearing.
