It’s not really all that remarkable at all. Fitzgerald has his own cryptic and odd way of saying things. As rubiconbob so perfectly put it, “Magic 8 Ball Answers”. :)

I don’t think he has any choice but to say 100 percent.. if he said honest stats like 74 percent of kidnapped victims for sexual purposes are killed in 3 hours would be weird....

Also think there’s chance she was on 911 call or her name was yelled...

Jayme Closs- Barron wi
Sara bushland - spooner wi
Madeline edman - lacrosse wi

22 years. - 3 teen girls. Gone and not a word from them after abduction...

I’m not saying serial killer up and down central Wisconsin. But id certainly check if Jennie o has drivers that travel that route..
Or Atleasr look at cdl license in Wisconsin 25 yrs or Older....

Likely just coincidence...sad...really think they should pay for cams on last home out of town in any town over 1k lives that hits the highway... gotta be whopload cheaper than 6 month investigation to nowhere.

I hadn’t heard this one before. What a strange article. I can’t figure out why 1/2 way through they refer to this mystery guy as an “escapee”. ???

I’ve read over the article several times, and not seeing the escapee part. I do see the phone line is disconnected, and LE has been back several times to interview this unnamed overalls guy. All that to say, I am very tired, so may be looking through it too quickly.

" Fitzgerald said he believes she is “100 percent” still alive and implored residents to call the tip line with any information." Yup....that's what I heard..remarkable

LE always says that, early on. His addition of “100 %” is just his manner of confirming his belief, imo. He certainly had no evidence. But he had none that said otherwise. So LE always goes with “alive” until they know otherwise.

Some weeks later I remember he said he “hoped” or “remained hopeful” that she was alive...

“Radar called the gas station to in an effort to uncover if the FBI obtained or seized surveillance footage pertaining to the escapee, an employee told Radar: “We are not at liberty to discuss this.”

What's been released is almost certainly (99.9999%) exactly what's in the 911 system. Report prepared by records and released. Messing with this system even for a single call opens a department up to all sorts of legal liability. That's why there are redacted items, not omitted items, in these files when released.

Before anyone even decides that is what I meant, it is not in any way what I meant. I am talking about the news orgs, not LE messing with it. And there was an unredacted one released and I always wondered if it was meant to be and after that, some news sites did redact certain things off of that one. Then there was a redacted one released. And some news orgs simply retyped entries themselves in their reporting or so it looked.

lol, from one nut to another, these things were on there.

I am the one who first posted the dispatch log, and when I found it I saved a copy before I shared the link. But I can't for anything find the copy on my computer. I can't make the stupid search function work. :( If I ever find it I'll let you know. :)

Okay...so the perp uses Denise’s gun? Am confused. Or was there no perp? I agree, no one could know for sure the gun count in any house in America...

Not really saying anything, just pointing out that we truly do not have any facts I guess. I don't believe it was a gun of the family used, I am just saying we don't know. Frustrated that there aren't many facts I guess, that we know anyhow. I can think of scenarios to make a gun of the family's work, etc. but I don't think it is what happened so I won't bother.

Now that sounds like me lol.

This thread is up to 31 pages, and a new thread will be opened soon, probably. Information gets lost sometimes when starting a new thread, so bear with me on the radar article: Jayme Closs Case Break: Police Receive Chilling Tip About Conversation With Strange Man

The interview here: On day 11 of search for Jayme Closs, Barron residents remain vigilant. Again, watch the vid. It’s bizarre, IMO, but has been out there this whole time.

Night, all, and hope tomorrow is a better day. And remember thread #31 going forward.

Fox 9 didn’t put you in charge of archiving their video interview footage by any chance, did they? ;)

you are starting to sound like I did pages back looking for interview that I still haven't found. after that I just started filling my harddrive up so I knew where I had lost something if I lost something else. no I don't have your video in all my lost files. sorry. good luck.

Only one family member - Denise’s brother Steve- said, “I have an idea.”

I clearly remember his words but even more important, IMO, was his body language. I can still see his expression and demeanor.

I understand that it has been edited, most likely for his safety.

I’m sorry for those who didn’t see the original video. I’m even more sorry for those who are doubting that it existed.
I fully believe this comment existed and was later edited out for safety reasons!!! The over a dozen or so sleuthers here are NOT going to all hear someone say the same thing and/or convince each other they did. I trust their recollections.

<modsnip: question based on rumor has been removed>

And yes, on the off chance the perp (hadn't thought of this before!) is reading our words here, it's good to not mention names if possible or for this debate about the edited video to carry on at all IMO ;)

Yeah - brown jacket interview, right? That’s because we slipped you shrooms instead of LSD. :D

Have you ever watched the show Doomsday Preppers? There are survival experts who give detailed instructions on how to amass enough provisions to last years. Admittedly, that type of scenario would entail a lot of long term preparation and planning. It might not be likely, but it is possible.

Fwiw, there's plenty of survivalists in Northern Wisconsin.
