Authorities seeks AWOL inmate missing 4 days
Officials are looking for an inmate who failed to return to the jail after an approved absence four days ago.
Jennifer P. Peterson, 39, was serving a 270-day Huber sentence at the Dodge County Jail for a conviction of theft by false representation, the Dodge County Sheriff's Office said. She has active arrest warrants through Dodge County and the Department of Corrections.
On Monday morning, the sheriff's office said Peterson had been allowed to leave the jail for a preapproved shift at work Thursday, but she didn't return that afternoon as scheduled.
Officials said her last known address is in Portage.
Petersen was scheduled to be released April 11, according to the report.
