jordan+white.jpg

A Janesville family says they have exhausted their efforts in finding a missing loved one.

23-year-old Jordan White was last seen on Election Day.

A family is looking for answers.

Jordan White went over to his brother Aaron's house to pick up his bike, went to vote and told his grandmother he was going to be right back. That was last Tuesday.

He said he was going to vote but didn't take his wallet.
There is no confirmation that he did those things.
Also no search parties mentioned

Janesville Police Department - Missing Person Reported - Jordan R. White

The Janesville Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of Jordan R. White. Jordan has not been seen or heard from by relatives or friends since November 8th. He is a 23 year old white male, approximately 6 feet tall and weighing 195 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

Anyone who has been in recent contact with Jordan or has information about his location is encouraged to contact the Janesville Police Department at (608) 755-3100, Janesville Area Crime Stoppers at (608)756-3636, 24 hours a day, or download the FREE “P3 tips” app at the Apple store or Google play store to give crime tips ANONYMOUSLY.

There's discussion on FB about searching and hanging flyers and even contacting local media outlets - it appears to be quite an organized effort. They all seem to really care for him. I hope he comes home soon.

What can have happened here ?
In the UK you take a polling card to vote so no need for a wallet so is it different in the US.
What is the area like where he was voting busy or rural !

Jordan White went over to his brother Aaron's house to pick up his bike, went to vote and told his grandmother he was going to be right back. That was last Tuesday. "Nobody has seen or heard from him since," Aaron White, Jordan's brother, says.

He left behind his phone, wallet and keys.

According to Facebook messages found by Aaron, Jordan was planning to meet with a friend that day, but he never made it.

I have friends who live there and will make them aware of this.

you need to be registered to vote based and where you live. you would need to go to a certain polling place assigned to you based and your address and bring your driver's license (or passport). police would know if he voted and when. the city is 64,000 which is quite large for that area.

Friends, family search for Janesville man missing since last week

“It is strange, according to the family, that he would be gone for this stretch of time without contacting them,” Lt. Keith Lawver, with the Janesville Police Department, said. “So it concerns us as well.”

Friends and family have taken matters into their own hands and started a search party Tuesday.

More than 25 people showed up to help search. Teams split up and scoured different parks and trails in town, looking for any sign of White or the bike he left on.

Following as my husband grew up near Janesville.

I'm wondering if someone hit him on his bike and left without calling LE or hid him.

Curious...since there isn't much to go on. Starting from the beginning do we know why he had to go to his brother's to get his bike.

In my state we don't need license or ID to vote...MD. Just show up to our designated polling center and tell them name and address.

Would be interesting to know how long Jordan's bike was at the cave before being noticed on Friday at 2pm???

Where are you Jordan???

I asked my hubby about this area and he said...I think it is near water. He decided it's been too long.

ETA That lookout cave over water concerns me. I hope he just needed to get away for a bit.
