She has 4 kids per FB. Also her mom has same last name as she does, may be able to figure out her relationship to the baby's mom.

the baby was found this morning about 10:15 am cst, according to the presser.

I'm not sure exactly when KS was arrested. Anyone?

The first post about it on WS was "breaking news" at 11:55am yesterday. So a little over 22 hours before he was found, KS was arrested.

ETA: ~n/t~ says she was arrested at 5:30am, which is probably a more accurate timeline.

So what I don't understand is why KS bothered with being chummy with the family and spending a few days with them before abducting Kayden. Why not sneak in during the night and steal him? The family wouldn't have known she was in the area.

Assuming she intended to raise Kayden as her own, how did she plan to explain his existence to her husband?

I don't think she planned on keeping him.

Slightly OT/ But, is anyone else disturbed at the name of the gas station being " and Go"? Especially if it was off a heavily traveled highway that truckers frequent? I would be scared to death to stop at a place like that when it's still dark.

It's a pretty common chain of gas stations in that area of the US. It disturbs me, too.

Do you think she was going to sell him? What do you think her motive was? Sorry I can't fathom being a mom and being able to hurt a baby, or steal one. But we see it every day in the news, so obviously it happens.

Ok, so we have about a 29 hour time difference between the time KS was arrested and Kayden was found.

Has anyone researched the social networking connection between KS and BM? I'm curious as to what kind of discussion they had about their being sisters and their dad/step dad?

I have to be honest, I can't help but wonder if someone fed KS information about BM's bio father to make her believe KS was actually a sister, but I realize that might be a stretch..... Especially if BM revealed enough about her personal life and her dad that KS was able to BS her.

Interesting!!! Yesterday I checked her out on FB (same profile and pictures) but her name was definitely "Kristen" and today it's Kris. Someone must have access to her FB account and changed the name. Please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed this? :facepalm:

I was thinking maybe she felt the enviornment he was in was not a good one but now that she left him in the cold in a bag to die that kinda is out the window now.

If she did have other kids before , I am really struggling with how she could take that mom's newborn baby. For that matter, how could anyone do this?

I am amazed at how quickly my joy has turned to anger against the person(s) that could do this to someone.

So thankful that LE found the baby alive. Prayers are with LE and the Mom and her family.

My thoughts were possibly they met on Babycenter (i know they get a lot of crap but there have been so many faked pregnancies, trolls, stalkers, etc on that site and a great place to meet expectant moms) and KS saw that Brianna's racial makeup was close enough to her own that she could befriend her and "discover" they were half or step sisters. This is totally hypothetical, but if Brianna had an absent father, all KS would have to do is play into that and "ask her mom" and make up info about their "father" to establish a rapport with Brianna.

I'll see if I can find any SM links besides FB.

I'm wondering (speculation only) if she had another man in her life that she wanted to trap? We know nothing about her married/family life. Could they have been having marital troubles? Separated? Did she think a new baby would help save her marriage? Did she have all girls and dad wanted a boy and she knew this "sister" was having a boy?

So many things could have been going on that we just don't know about yet. There's a reason she wanted a baby/newborn.

Someone posted KS is fairly recently married. Do we really know she had any kids?

My guess is going to be Ks couldn't get pregnant but hung around on baby forums. Started chatting with BM. Showed some sympathy after learning about BM's struggles/conflicts with her mother and offered them a place to stay... and some how they came to find they were sisters, with KS aligning herself with BM's dad's side as opposed mom's.

I think she was let in under the false pretense she was going to be moving mom, dad and baby across country with her, when all she really wanted was the baby and that is why she left when she did at such an unusual hour.

She was contacted via cell phone by LE and asked where she was located. She stated in Iowa somewhere and they asked her to exit the interstate and they would have local LE make contact with her. It's hard to say how much time elapsed between the phone call and the arrival of local Iowa LE. I'm sure once she exited she had to tell them what exit she took and what street. :twocents:
