Since KS does not make her friends list public, it is hard to tell, but using the last name the dispatcher mentioned at 4:30am as Brianna's and KS' father, I do find they both have mutual friends with the same last name. Brianna also mentions her child support from her BP as well as her BP paying for senior photos, so I think it would be REALLY hard for KS to insert herself into the family.

ETA: KS's mom is also FB friends with some of the same people.

Interesting!!! Yesterday I checked her out on FB (same profile and pictures) but her name was definitely "Kristen" and today it's Kris. Someone must have access to her FB account and changed the name. Please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed this? :facepalm:

It definitely said Kristen yesterday.

Also, I noted the last name she has listed is an alteration of her real last name.

If this is a picture after they recovered the baby, I do worry a little bit about the health condition of the child. If you look at the color of his cheeks compared to forehead. His cheeks are really darker color and his lips look very chapped and not much color in lips. I'm so glad he is alive and hopefully will fully recover.

For the perp(s) who did this, I want nothing less than "attempted murder". Unbeleivable.

It also appears that KS & Brianna do have the same dad. Based on Brianna's Facebook & the dispatch call, but KS maiden name is not the same as her dad's last name.

Hope that makes sense.

She stated back in mid-2012 that she was in the Army, had just been promoted, and next step was commissioned officer. Her husband is former Navy.

The only thing military related that I know of near Kayden's area is RTC Great Lakes and A-school.

Still digging, don't want to bring her husband into this as he's not mentioned anywhere in the media.

I wonder if the charge for messing with government documents was while in the military? (if this is KS you are referring to)

Slightly OT/ But, is anyone else disturbed at the name of the gas station being " and Go"? Especially if it was off a heavily traveled highway that truckers frequent? I would be scared to death to stop at a place like that when it's still dark.

Yes and no. My friends and I use to just laugh at the name all the time. But there a lot of " and go" in and around this area. Not an uncommon name at all. I wouldn't be scared at all to stop there. It's more of a running joke. There are also some pump and go in the area. I use to work at one. The owners were normaal. lol
In the town I live we have a store called dicks's pickly wiggleys and one day the woman asked me if I had my dick insider card....apareently that is a card you carry to get points. Or as they call them pig pokes.
Aparently I'm the one with a dirty mind because every time a cashier asks me if I want my pig poke I bust out laughing....and say hold on let me find my dick insider card. haha

Anyways, I'm still in awe of this little baby being found. I get all warm tinglys when I think about the momma grabing and holding her baby today for the first time sinse calling the police.

Just an FYI, there seems to be some type of historical heritage park across from the BP, Herbert Hoover Presidential. Didn't they say he was found across from the BP? Maybe she stuck him in one of the buildings there. From Google it says, library, museum, schoolhouse, etc.

I am sooooo happy he was found safe! Thank you God!!!

It did occur to me yesterday that she could have dropped him somewhere. I was thinking gas station restroom though. I guess that proved too risky for her. Someone could have found the cold, hungry newborn. :banghead:

This case kept me up last night. I couldn't sleep at all. I went back and read tweets, FB pages, etc. BP added Smith as a FB friend sometime in 2013. That didn't sit well with me, because she was most likely pregnant by then. I couldn't find any mutual relatives either. I kept thinking. . .I hope they searched that gas station! I'm assuming they did, but he wasn't there anyway.

I am just VERY happy and relieved that Kayden gets to go home to him mommy and daddy who obviously love him very much. :woohoo:

If he WAS there the whole time law enforcement was totally incompetent for not checking the area.
That should have been the FIRST thing they did after they arrested Kristen.
Check the entire area from when she got the phone call from LE to when she stopped.
Can you imagine if they hadn't found him until it was too late, because they didn't search the area?!

I certainly hope that Kristen confessed and they didn't assume her guilt because of where he was found.
I can see this going either way, with Kristen being guilty or not... I am not convinced she is guilty.
She definitely didn't do it ALONE or we'd be discussing a dead baby found at a gas station.

Nope, her name has been the same since Kayden was reported missing.
I found Mom's facebook and looked at Kristen's long before we knew Kristen was arrested for a warrant.
It was exactly the same as it is now.

4 kids, with the same last name as her husband (some of the kids have facebooks too.)
Got the impression she's been with the husband for many years and just didn't get married until last year.
Every indication that her husband adores her and dotes on her... and that she loves him and her kids.
If she faked a pregnancy I find it hard to believe no one mentioned she was pregnant on facebook. :twocents:

Someone posted KS is fairly recently married. Do we really know she had any kids?

My guess is going to be Ks couldn't get pregnant but hung around on baby forums. Started chatting with BM. Showed some sympathy after learning about BM's struggles/conflicts with her mother and offered them a place to stay... and some how they came to find they were sisters, with KS aligning herself with BM's dad's side as opposed mom's.

I think she was let in under the false pretense she was going to be moving mom, dad and baby across country with her, when all she really wanted was the baby and that is why she left when she did at such an unusual hour.

On KS FB page in a comment on one of the pictures, KS says she has 4 kids.

Thank god he was found! There is no way he was outside for 24 hours. It was only a high of 6 and the low last night was in negative temps and with wind chills felt like -20 to -25. I'm so glad he is safe
