FB, IMO is not a good indicator of what a person or relationship is like. People often put their best foot forward on FB. I know of several examples in my own life- One is a a couple who post constant pics of each other together, they have been married for 19 yrs. She posts about thanking God for a good husband. A week after posting that she came to buy a couch from me for her new house because they were seperating. I was like wow that is sudden she said no we both had affairs and it has been bad for years, we made the decision to seperate about 6 months ago. I know I must have stoood there with my mouth hanging open.
Another example I know a guy who has not seen his children in several years and is a terrible father. He doesn't visit, call or pay support. But on FB he is the greatest dad on earth. He posts pics (that he copies from other relatives fb) and writes long loving posts about the kids. People on his fb say things like "your such a good daddy". Makes me sick and takes all I can do not to say something as I adopted one of those kiddos that he posts about.

Adding to your post here...

Who is to say KS didn't write those messages on her "husband's" page...?

I have heard of people beefing up the compliments about THEMSELVES on their spouse's page...

KS seems to be just "out of reality" enough to do any or all of the above...

In fact...with all of KS's fabrications (military... Husband in construction...Legal fraud, etc...) she could be fabricating her whole life story....

Just more thoughts..

What happens when the clientele return and the receptionist is forever pregnant! Something tells me that making an employee wear a pregnancy bump on the job breaks a labor law. Don't know which law it is, but something is definitely wrong with this. It's fraud.

Oh... I see what you did there!

Labor Law! :baby:

Bwahahahaha! :silly:

Yeah, sure, right

Sure its not you, carbuff, walking round with a moonbump? Just Kidding!

(I'm going to start calling you carbump heehee)

Oh no... the pregnant receptionist was at a party? Getting drunk? :drink:

:cautionDrunk:

:nono:

:laughcry:

I'm going back to that fake pregnancy belly. How could you be intimate with someone without them seeing it was fake? Would those near you want to feel the baby kick? I know when I was pregnant, people were always wanting to feel my belly.

Now if I was single, and didn't have family close by, it's possible to pretend to be pregnant, especially if you have been pregnant before, or research enough to know how to answer questions that will be coming your way about the pregnancy. But I'm having a hard time figuring out how you could carry this through with a husband, and family nearby. Do you fake doctor appts as well? No ultrasounds? Or fake them by copying off the internet? Was she going to visit her sister, and then pretend she had the baby while on the visit? And figure no one was report a missing baby? Didn't she finally state that Kayden's parents wanted to give him away? I don't believe it of course, but I thought I read that in a report. Obviously the last people in the home are who is going to be looked at first....did she think she could just appear back a home with a baby, and state she had it out of state? Guess she didn't think too far ahead in her planning, because what about a birth certificate? Or was she going to insist that Kayden's parents sign papers to give him up? I don't know.

I'm grateful that it doesn't appear that she had any real planning, other than the faking pregnancy. To have a carseat, stroller, clothing, etc in the vehicle, I don't know if she purchased those, or they were Kayden's to begin with. She's obviously not the brightest or sharpest crayon in the box! I hope she stays locked up, and isn't allowed to pull this stunt every again!!!

Thank you Lord for keeping baby Kayden safe, and reunited with his family who obviously love and adore him.

Has anyone else found any other court records in places she has lived? The article says she has had numerous run-ins with the law. I would love to know the criminal history in this case.

I would love to know KS's court history, too!

and I wonder if she has any aliases... As I suspect she does...

This still really, really bothers me. 29 hours seems impossible. I can see possibly during the day the sun warming the tote, but once the sun goes down and the actual temps are below zero I just don't think it's physically possible. Did she possibly place him by an outdoor vent that was blowing warm air? I feel like something else must be going on to explain this.

(sorry for the o/t)

:floorlaugh:It is all your fault, Margarita... Going all O/T and getting silly and all! :nono: I would never do THAT! :snooty: :floorlaugh:

(Oh, oh, this could be dangerous, folks. Clue and I are obviously both in really goofy moods today (must be the intensity of yesterday's happenings--between Kayden being found safe, Captain Quick's Flag Lowering and Press Conference, the mother and daughter murdered yesterday in my vicinity...its nice to have a couple silly giggles in a very grateful "Found Safe" Thread!

So, speaking of prosthetic moons, :behind: i wonder if any of this infomation can be of any use to us in the Pooping jogger Thread...)

I'm confused about this whole mom and dad moving with the baby to her home. How did she plan on handling that after the kidnapping?

Ms. F...

I am so impressed with your dedication to these cases... And you are so incredibly compassionate... :loveyou:

But... How do we know for a fact KS's DH exists in the capacity that is on his FB?

TIA, my friend...:seeya:

It's bothering me as well. I wonder if she had family/friend in that area? I would THINK if she left the baby with someone, saying she'd be right back, just running to the store, or something, that the person would have called police, rather than abandon the baby. And if someone was going to abadon the baby, why not at a safe place? Hospital, fire station, etc.

We've had some very cold temps in VA that haven't been seen in quite some time. Cold enough that I put heat in for my chickens, and potbellied pigs, along with bales of hay to keep them from freezing. Covered rabbit cages on all sides and filled their cages to the top with hay. They all survived, but had we not taken measures, I've no doubt they would have froze. Reports in our area of outside dogs and cats dying in the cold and they have fur coats, and the means to find some shelter and food. Remember all the cattle and horses that died a few months ago because a cold winter struck? Think it was in the mid west. Farmers literally lost hundreds of cattle due to cold temps, and not being able to get feed to them.

Little Kayden had none of those means, and more than likely didn't maintain his own body temp. My daughter was 6lbs 1oz at birth, and couldn't regulate her temp. Either someone else was assisting with Kayden, or a miracle occurred. :loveyou:

Whoa! I just remembered another case, a little girl wandered off, and was found in the woods with freezing temps, and she survived. Doctors then didn't think it was possible either. Can't think of her name, but it was case on here.

Great question!!! I doubt she ever gave them an address, and probably was going to change her phone number. Though truly I don't know, but only guessing. Such a strange case!

Did anyone find a twitter account for Kristen Smith? What about another facebook page by chance? What other SM could she have used? Would be interesting to see if she was posting anywhere about being pregnant that we could see.

All these questions are so valid, 2Hope4...

The theorized plans of KS seem to be so incredibly stoopid (KS's plans... Not you wonderful WSer theories, please note) ... With all of the ramifications, don't they....

so... I am trying to think of an alternate scenario...(though it would HAVE to be similarly kooky..)

Maybe she wore the pregnant belly outside her home...

maybe she was pretending to be a surrogate mother...in exchange for money...

Maybe she miscarried the baby... Or never was pregnant in the first place...

But she wanted to get the money for being a surrogate mother... So she stole one...

Crazy... Yes... But this KS is certainly certifiable... JMO
