Woman's body found in a car trunk at Chicago greyhound station. The car has WI tags. Person of interest in custody w Kenosha agency

:( hoping against all hope it's not Kelly but if nothing else, some other woman has lost her life. So sad.

NBC news just reported the car was found on the south side of Chicago and something about ties to Kenosha (again!). Kenosha was brought up two times last week, once in relation to Kelly's case.

When my heart was sinking thinking this must be Kelly, they said the woman in the trunk is in her thirties and the man (bf) who says he killed her by mistake, is in his forties.

Could this be a separate case altogether? :waitasec:

Oh, I was so excited upon hearing the news at noon, I didn't read all the way ahead.

This is a really weird coincidence. Supposedly Kelly has ties to a man in Kenosha who she met on OKcupid. His phone had been turned off when someone tried to reach him.

Did they release the victim's name? Or are you going by the age they reported/guess of the victim?

Just for the record, the vehicle was found at around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night (per nbc news at noon).

This article reports the woman is thirty. The body was found in the trunk of a car near a Greyhound bus station.
An autopsy is being performed. Identity not being released, pending notification of family.

This report gives info the body was found at 6:30 p.m. and the woman was found still alive but later died at the hospital.

Sooo... This man says he "accidentally" killed this woman...

Then did he "accidentally" put her in the trunk of a car, too?

I'm going by the reporter saying the woman is in her 30s and not Kelly.

That's what they reported during a brief newscast.
I was in the kitchen and heard 'body found in trunk - chicago - wisconsin - kenosha' and my heart sunk. The report led the news at noon but was very brief. I also heard the reporter give an older age range 'in her thirties' for the victim. I've read age 30 in another report. Whoever the victim is, can you imagine being the parent if you are looking for your daughter, upon hearing that news? If my heart sank now, I'd probably have a heart attack then.

Me too but seems to be conflicting reports.
I'm waiting with bated breath for more information to be revealed.
The coincidence of Kenosha involvement has me hanging still.

Hey everybody! I'm a long time member, sporadically post between work, but follow many cases here on WS.

This case reminds me so vividly how lucky I was in my 20s, that nothing bad happened to me, with all the risks I took. The thing is, I didn't even recognize it as risks at the time. I was a lucky girl for sure looking back on some of the situations I found myself in that could have turned out so ugly. This is what I believe has happened to Kelly. Something went wrong.

I pray that's not the case. I hope so much she comes home safe!

Exact same thing here. I was so reckless in my 2s but fortunately lucky. I am hoping Kelly is found safe

The building really appeals to me. I love the atmosphere colonial styles create in towns and cities. I see the brass plate there.

Is this area generally safe though?
The Knickerbocker Hotel seems like it would be a nice place to visit.
My husband's grandmother lived in Hales Corners. I don't know why we never took the time to explore Milwaukee.

No. That action was intentional! :notgood::crazy:

In this particular close area I'd say very safe but go 7-8 blocks north and west and I'd say no. We had lunch at the nick today and it was really good. I've been to a number of weddings there all beautifully done. I was married around d the corner at the villa terrace decorative arts museum.
