Although.. You would still think they would have been reported missing? I know Walworth County had no missing persons, but what about Kenosha County?!? It's right by the county line.

I think suitcases would be easier to move someone without being noticed if someone od'd. No one would think twice about someone carrying suitcases in an area with lots of tourists known for weekend getaways.

I'm not finding anything for anyone recently missing from the immediate area. Not in MSM and not in NamUs.

I find myself wondering why LE has not given any identifying information publicly. And I wonder if anyone in the hospitality industry would recognize those suitcases if a description and photo of an identical suitcase was made public.

Is LE being quiet because they don't want to alarm tourists? Wouldn't the coroners office know by know if this was an od?

I do get your point, but would a bunch of drug users have suitcases sitting around?

They could be living out of a suitcase if they were homeless. It's not unusual for addicts to be couch surfing if they have been kicked out of their home for not getting treatment, taking their belongings wherever they go.

People come and go from treatment centers with suitcases. Addicts who can't make it through treatment and leave early would be leaving with suitcases.....

I wonder if AZ LE believes the girls are still in the area or not.

It's possible they accepted a ride and ended up in WI. And while it might be a long shot, the suitcases and location might be a ploy to lead LE to belive the victims were vacationing in the area......

I'm so curious about those suitcases and if they are new or not.

Also, according to google Sugar Shack is still open, but I have no idea what the area is like currently. Went there twice for Bachelorette parties in the 80's, but haven't been there since.

I have been told Sugar Shack was a classier place not too long back - 80's. Early 90's, but it was pretty run down and trashy last I remember and that was probably back in 06-07? I have heard it got worse. Sugar Shack probably has nothing to do with it, but obviously worth noting with female dancers..

Now I have the 80's song Love Shack in my head.
Could the teenagers being over 5'5 be thought to be adults in the suitcase? I am 5'2 so anyone taller than me looks more like an adult..lol

Also, I agree. Addicts would probably have suit cases. Usually a bunch of addicts all crash together and are homeless, especially since drugs take people early in that area. When I went through my own troubles as a teen when I got caught up in the bad side of everything, the only possession I always had was my giant black rolling suitcase, that I definitely could have fit into. It was large because it had everything I owned in it.

Those entering/leaving rehab centers and homeless/couch surfing individuals are more likely to use backpacks, duffel bags or plastic trash bags. Suitcases are more expensive.

I wish they would provide more info on the condition of the suitcases and any clothes, etc. found with the bodies.

It could be that there are lots of clues in the suitcases and with the bodies, and they're quietly investigating those without any need for public input. That would fit with being sure it's an isolated incident.

It seems like OD deaths are more often just dumped, or left behind. It takes some effort and involvement to fold a body into a suitcase.

The women could be mother and teenage daughter, mother and grown daughter, sisters, or sisters-in-law like the two Philadelphia murder victims who were just identified this week.

I wonder how they determined they were adults and whether it was via dentals or size.

It wouldn't hurt for you to alert the AZ authorities to the bodies found in WI and provide AZ with WI's contact info. WI isn't asking for the publics help right now, so I think AZ would be more apt to reach out. WI might dismiss it too easily this early in the investigation.

Pelvic bones would let them identify both sex and likely age. Other clues would be the growth plates of the long bones, and the state of wisdom teeth.

There are addicts who will group together and rent dumpy motels for a place to have a roof over their head. There are older motels in my area that are known for just that. They rent by the week or even month in some cases.

It's possible the victims were staying with a group who hasn't checked out and were removed from the location via the suitcases.

There are lots of goodwill stores, salvation army stores, even local charities that provide people with used goods including suitcases.

Addicts are also known to trade in gift cards for cash..... (usually 50 cents on the dollar) so they can get around people/charities not giving cash to be used on drugs.

Would they still use the pelvic bones if these were not skeletal remains? I don't know how quickly dentals are done. Doesn't it usually take more time for a forensic odontologist (sp?) for that?

Growth plates in the long bones and pelvic structure would show on the x-rays.

Since the age estimate was very approximate, the dental information probably wasn't from an expert; it's probably nothing more than an observation that wisdom teeth are present. Or they might have had an expert on hand at the autopsy.

I'm speculating anyway -- just based on other cases I've seen. I could easily be mistaken.

Wisdom teeth come in the late teens/early 20s. Easy to see and make a guess about age based on their presence or absence.

Maybe LE already knows their identity and doesn't need to make more details public.

ok, I called Flagstaff Arizona and was talking to them about the missing teens from their town when an Officer by the name of Valerie told me that the girls had shown up. So it is not them in the suitcases.
