The Green Bay Police Department is looking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing female. Lashana M Washington, 28 years old, female/black, 504, 125, last seen on October 2nd, on the near east side of Green Bay. She was last wearing a black Jordan hooded sweatshirt, with a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and red white and blue nike shoes.

She was last known to have been at the University Avenue bus depot at noon on Oct 2nd, 2019, attempting to purchase a bus ticket. It's believed that Washington has family in the Pulaski and Ledgeview area. She has only been in the Green Bay area for approximately 3 days, having arrived here to visit family from Mississippi. Anyone with information on her whereabouts are encouraged to call Ofc Miles Ganz at 920-448-3208.

Thhe article says she attempted to buy a bus ticket. What would prevent a person from being able to purchase a bus ticket?

Card rejected? Not enough cash? No drivers license or State Issued ID?

I suspect that someone noticed her being unable to purchase a ticket, maybe looking vulnerable, and offered her a ride. Maybe “Someone” tricked her in to coming with them. I hope she had a phone with her.
