COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. - Officials have issued a Silver Alert for a Dane County man missing Friday evening.
The state Department of Justice said 82-year-old Louis Olivas was last seen at noon Friday. He was wearing khaki shorts, tan sandals and had a blue lanyard around his neck with a key on it.
Olivas is 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 164 pounds. He has short gray hair and brown eyes.
According to the alert, Olivas left his home in Cottage Grove to go to a nearby grocery store, but didn't arrive at the store and hadn't returned home as of 5 p.m. He moved to Dane County from Elkhorn two weeks ago and is not familiar with the area.
He is believed to be driving a white Chevy Impala LTZ with Wisconsin plates of 678DTW and a spoiler on the back. Anyone with information is asked to call Cottage Grove police at 608-255-2345.
