Added 4:12pm 10/19/18: Richard is still missing. We have been notified by the investigating agency that a $1,000 reward has been offered to anyone with substantiated information as to the whereabouts of Richard. Updated at 11:15 am 10/12: Richard was last seen in his vehicle in the City of Wausau at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday October 6th, 2018 at which time he stated he wanted to go to Crivitz (Marinette County, WI), but asked for direction to Rothschild, WI. Richard was reportedly sighted in Birnamwood, WI at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday October 6th, 2018 and was last seen driving north on State Hwy 45. Richard’s cell phone pinged off a tower in Crandon, WI on Sunday October 7th, 2018. Richard is familiar with the Wausau, WI and Stevens Point, WI areas.
Richard also is known to wear black onyx rings with gold settings on both hands and commonly wears a bolo tie. Also, he is 180 lbs, not 190 as originally reported.
His vehicle has minor damage to the driver's side front wheel well area and a mud flap is missing. The vehicle has a trailer hitch. The photo added below is a likeness of his vehicle.

Silver Alert issued statewide for missing Marathon Co. man Richard J. Czarnecki. He is a 84 year old white male, 5'7" and 180 lbs. last seen wearing a maroon coat with "Bucyrus Erie" printed on it, black shoes and black pants.
Last seen in Rothschild at St. Mark's Catholic church on Saturday October 6th at approximately 5:30 P.M. and has not been heard from since. Believed to have been in Forest County near Crandon on Sunday, October 7th at approximately 8:30 P.M.. Discovered missing on the evening of October 7th by family members. It is unknown whether or not he spent the night at his residence on October 6th. He frequents the Stevens Point, Cedar Creek and Schofield areas. He also has a friend that lives in Wausau.
Believed to be driving his gray 2008 Buick Lucerne 794-TJE. Anyone with info is asked to call Rothschild PD at 715-849-7794
