A device to assist anyone seated in gallery with hearing the parties and the Court; apparently can be harder to hear with the acoustics in the room and distance away from the tables in front of the bar.

It looked like blood and they ruled it out as being any other bodily fluid or hair. Plus, the profile they got was too strong for it to be touch. It was blood.

Jury asked Schroeder for a life time exemption for future trials. He said even though they earned it, he had to turn them down.

I didn't get to watch every moment, but I believe so.

I also believe they proved Rosalio's DNA in the van (maybe from the blood). The defense suggested had gotten there because the victim had been "reverse stalking" the defendant, or something which made no sense to me.

First time I’ve seen a prosecutor go into the gallery and sit with family of the victim after a verdict

From Law and Crime Network camera feed. I still can’t get over the “threatened with a gun”, the law enforcement officer who was “unavailable” who was going to testify that the daughter did not say she was threatened with the gun, the “cadaver dog hit”; not sure how the Jury could unhear those remarks. Oh and the “body” mentioned in Closing by the State; a lot of remarks that were made in front of the jury that that could have affected even the most well-intentioned jurors trying to set aside such comments.

Oh gosh, I've wondered that ever time I've watched a verdict read aloud in court. My heart races and my stomach goes queasy. I can only imagine what the accused is going through.

I often wonder that too, and whether I could keep the stony-faced appearance so many defendants have when the verdict is read. Of course, I wouldn't be found guilty hee hee
