I can't find any news whatsoever on Rosaly so I sent her NAMUS profile to a couple Wisconsin Dells reporters. She deserves her story to be heard and someone could know something and potentially have a memory triggered if they see her face on the news!

Thank you for doing that, @kelsie. Maybe that will help get Rosaly's disappearance more public notice.

Interesting the disparity in dates she was last seen

Where is she from? The description makes it seem as if she's from some other place besides WD, WI. Missing Persons Cases Network posted Lake Delton, WI which is only about 3 miles from WD. I'm confused...o_O bbm

No updates on Cindy's whereabouts. She's originally from Lima, Peru and lives in Wisconsin Dells. It strikes me odd that the MP alerts say she has no ties to the area. A search of her name shows a comment suggesting she could be in Chicago. I hope they can find her soon--it's been over 3 months already that she's been missing.

Human remains found in Chippewa Co. may be missing Reedsburg woman

REEDSBURG, Wis. (WMTV) - The victim of a gruesome homicide investigation near Eau Claire may be a Reedsburg woman, reported missing for months.

Authorities found the remains near an abandoned barn in Chippewa County last week.

According to a case report obtained by NBC15, the victim had long, black hair, may be named “Rosaly” and wore a shirt that said “Sprecher’s Restaurant and Pub.”

Investigators have not made an official connection, but a woman of the same first name—also from Wisconsin Dells—is also missing. The Reedsburg Police Department is handling the “Rosaly ‘Cindy’ Chavarria Rodriguez” case. The 26-year-old was reported missing by her ex-husband on July 21.

NBC15 spoke with Rodriguez’s former coworkers at Sprecher’s and found that she had worked as a pantry cook for about two weeks before she disappeared.

Rodriguez had also worked at the Wilderness Resort, according to another former coworker, and was believed to have returned to her home country of Peru.

Chippewa County officials say they have a person of interest, but he is not yet in custody.

Oh no... it does look like Rosaly is "Eau Claire". She was so pretty.
Did she have any kids, and that's why her ex husband noticed she was missing, or what?

Chippewa County homicide victim was found in suitcase | News Break

The body was found on a vacant farm between 20th Avenue and 30th Avenue, along the Highway T corridor, south of 29 Pines. Officers learned of the body being at the farm during a drug investigation, when an informant told them about it. Police arrived at the farmhouse Wednesday and located it.

Chippewa County Coroner Ron Patten said an autopsy is being conducted in Madison. Usually, autopsies from cases in western Wisconsin are done in St. Paul. However, Patten said it is being performed in Madison because there are law enforcement agencies in southern Wisconsin who are involved in the case, and they wanted it done there. He estimates full results will be back in four to six weeks.

Patten said they were able to collect DNA from the body.

“That’s probably how she’ll be identified,” he said. “The body is too decomposed to otherwise determine who she is. There is no way anyone could identify her (by looking at the body).”

Police “probably” have the entire body and skeleton, he added.

Patten said it is not immediately clear what was the cause of death, adding that there were no bullet holes or visible wounds located in the initial examination of the body.

“We just aren’t sure how she died,” he said. “The body was so extremely decomposed, that would be hard to detect. It’s got to be pretty shocking to whoever found her.”

Chippewa County Sheriff Jim Kowalczyk was unavailable for comment Monday. Last week, he described the death as a homicide because of how the body had been found, but he hadn’t elaborated. Kowalczyk added that he doesn’t believe the public is in danger.

I was looking up cases in my state, and came across this one. Absolutely heartbreaking. It does seem like the Chippewa victim has to be her. I'm unfamiliar with how long autopsies take but wouldn't they have confirmed her identity by now?
