Very similar indeed, but in that case he had used threats to make her leave with him and she had asked her sister to call cops in case she would not be back. In this case here, she seems voluntarily missing even though she was probably groomed and manipulated.

2019: Day was charged in Independence County, AK with endangering the welfare of a minor after it was reported his four-month-old son broke his femur in Independence County. Doctors noticed more bruising and fractures consistent with blunt force trauma.

2020: Day enters guilty plea on endangering welfare of minor charge from 2019.

July 2023: Day was charged with domestic battery in the second degree for injuries related to his then-four-year-old son in Lonoke County.

May 2023: domestic battery charge dropped.

April 2024: Gary begins communicating online with teen in Beaver Dam, WI

Late July 2024: Gary drove to WI to pick up minor teen and take her to AK

August 1, 2024: arrived in Austin, AK and began intimate relationship with said teen

December 10, 2024: Dodge County (WI) LE is “on duty” about a missing teen in Beaver Dam. On the same date LE in Austin, AK located teen at Day’s residence when they were there to investigate other “crimes against children”. Day was charged with interference with custody and contributing to delinquency of the minor teen.

New Years Eve 2024: Day had written to teen using unknown email "I guess we are not friends anymore" and "I want nothing to do with you."

The teen and her parents had a strained relationship.

January 26, 2025: Day sent teen several messages, including but not limited to, threats to harm himself because of their separation. "I want nothing to do with you," "Suicide, you win, goodbye," and "no one will care." To which she responded with "I'll care and so will our daughter." (informing him of her pregnancy) and "I know how much you wanted a girl and I know how much you care for your children," [personal aside: ewwww ewwww ewww, I’ll just bet he does ☹ ] Day responded with "Tell her I'm dead," and "I stayed out past curfew. Probation. And I didn't notice. I'm done."

February 1, 2025: Teen’s father emails LE in Beaver Dam to inform teen is doing well back at home but shared a google account the teen’s parents had discovered the prior evening and gave LE permission to review it. LE discovered teen was still communicating with Day via this account.

Day's mother has confirmed she bought the black Buick used in the abduction for her son.

February 2, 2025: Teen is seen heading to bed at her home.

February 3, 2025: Day is seen on video at her residence at 7:48 am.

February 24, 2025: Day is scheduled to appear in Lonoke County AK for his arraignment on the December incident involving this teen.

ETA, I took care not put the missing teen's name in this post and will be using her initials moving forward. It is abundantly clear this young girl has been manipulated by an icky adult predator. At some point, hopefully, this teen is located safely, and this thread will have to be scrubbed or removed entirely so I am trying to be conscious of that.

If he had ties to IL why not stay with friends? I suspect they will be found in one of the other states where the age of consent is 16. JMO they are not new at this. last time was a lesson and he is allegedly out of compliance with probation. They won't go to AK, or IL (age of consent 17 and too close to WI IMO) they will be somewhere further from WI, and not his home state, with this head start they've gotten. Somewhere he can attempt to skirt the law again and minimize his risk of catching a rape charge. Maybe IN, OH, TN, or KY.

LE needs to watch Day's mother's money. I can almost guarantee she is financing this romantic adventure of theirs.

At three months gone, would gender even be reliably determined? I'm reading that it's most common to know by the 20 week scan, and she's months away from that.

Im guessing they got married at the first state they came to where it would be legal. Indiana or Iowa would be where I would look.

In their mind, if they are married, then that takes care of any legal issues.

I don't believe there are any US states that allow a 16 year old girl to marry without parental consent, or a judge's ruling.

On top of this I believe they would need a series of documents which she does not have for sure. I really hope tips keep coming, strange they do not release his other mugshot with glasses on, would certainly help recognizing him
