I would guess that Gary is going to be wearing a hat. Not only as a bit of a disguise, but also to just cover up that bald head and keep himself from looking alarmingly older than SF.

He's likely posing as her uncle or older relative. I'd be more on the lookout for oddly affectionate couple claiming to be related with older man and younger woman (girl, teenager). I wouldn't put it past him to dress as if he was trying to get on a lifeboat in 1912, he's done worse.

Hoping she is okay and safe.
Hoping she will be back home soon.
Wondering if they are even still together...
Hoping not -- and hoping that she is okay and can go to police or a YWCA or a church, etc., and get in touch with her family.

It's not easy being pregnant -- especially, IMHO, for a 16 year old girl...
And again -- where is the money coming from so that they can eat and pay for gas and a place to stay?

The most direct route from Beaver Dam, WI to Lonoke, AR is through Illinois, then southeastern Missouri. It seems, instead, he went through Iowa, then into northern Missouri and is now somewhere in mid-Missouri.

Amber Alert extended for missing pregnant teen as family shares new photo

An Amber Alert issued for a pregnant teenager who is believed to be with a 40-year-old man has been extended to include more states.

Is it possible they drove to Mexico? Many people successfully drop off the radar in Mexico, the latest case was Hannah Kobayashi who went into hiding in Mexico while the US was searching allover for her.
Depending on where they are in Mexico, housing and food are affordable on American money and there is decent access to medical and prenatal care. Does he have some remote work? Also his mom may be sending them money on some credit card that is unknown to LE and not on his name

As a 16 year old I would have found that „oh so romantic“, ya know, „all the world against my love“. Personally I was too headstrong and actually too attached to my parents and family that i would have ever ran away with someone for good, but a young woman being manipulated by a predator would certainly do that. Especially if he got her pregnant and possibly tells her if she returns to family and school they may pressure her into abortion etc

Beaver Dam Police Department updated the Amber Alert after it was determined that Day may be switching the license plates on his vehicle. The vehicle had Arkansas license plate BBR 20L, but was also spotted with Pennsylvania license plate number KGW518 in Wisconsin. The alert states the license plate has also changed to Arizona at one point.

She's 16, this is a hard age, everything is so dramatic when you're 16. And if she's very religious/conservative, it's possible she thinks she has to stay by his side because of the baby.

I can empatize a lot with Sophia, this is probably the first time or she ever fell in love and these feelings are so overwhelming. I hope she is okay and gets to be safe and happy. This "relationship" is not appropriate and I'm not condoning what this pathetic piece of you know what has been doing to her, but I'm honestly rooting for her to be okay and if she doesn't feel happy/safe at home then another option should be given to her. Everything will be okay in the end, I hope she eventually gets free from him, she deserves way better.

On these pictures released I’d say she looks a lot older than 16 whereas he’s tried to make himself look younger - baseball hat, freshly shaven.

The problem is if they are staying at like cheap hotels/hostels etc unless you were familiar with the case these two walking in looking similar to these pictures above wouldn’t raise suspicions imo about child sexual exploitation.

This case needs wider media coverage I think in order solve it.
