I don't know how far along she is, but it seems most people assume they are keeping the baby.
Maybe he's trying to get her somewhere for her to abort. Whether per her wishes (and against the parents') or his, or both.

It's getting late for that route at 4 months.
When she was reported missing it was said she was 3 months.
There's also the expense and state's strict abortion laws.

Maybe they could get into Mexico without passports. But I don't see any way they could get to South America without them. You wouldn't even be able to board the airplane without proper documentation, much less get through immigration.

Even traveling in Mexico beyond the border towns would be difficult. Mexico has internal checkpoints to cut down on the flow of guns and drugs. They would almost certainly be asked for their passports if they tried to go anywhere within the country.

agree, hence the insistence by both of them that last time he abducted her and took her over state lines they were careful not to be intimate because the laws in IL prohibited it.

Also churches should be alerted at least in the states LE has issued Amber Alerts, Michigan,Arkansas and Missouri, (3 states that they're most likely not in.)
People in need go to churches for all kinds of help, locals and transits.
Soup kitchens and food banks too.

There’s stuff on this case & others I want post about / point out on here but I worry that the suspect(s) are watching sites like this for a heads up… I wish there was legit detective or someone who just looks & replies that they got it on cases especially when it’s real time serious Amber Alerts.. sometimes I’m not sure if messages even go thru & dk if it’s smart asking on here publicly.

I would not assume detectives are reading these sites. Most detectives I have dealt with do have an email address you can shoot them your information and then set a read receipt in your mail program, or ask them to let you know if they have received it.

I meant like in this case pointing stuff out about the creep that i haven’t seen in the media yet & if the creep is checking everything about him & Sophia then he might get a heads up before the detectives do..

Luckily nobody is broadcasting us! I would doubt they’d look here, even the police don’t bother it seems.

My bet is there is not active LE involvement. They're going to say there is and they'll claim its not a cold case or whatever language they want to use but no LE cares about this. IMO

law enforcement is strapped in Wisconsin, but they are under a lot of scrutiny on this case. Us marshals are now involved, too.

Just hoping she is okay, and hoping he is being good to her.
I still wonder how they (assuming they are still together) are getting along with things each day -- a decent place to sleep, somewhere to eat, a place to shower, etc., etc.
Is her pregnancy coming along okay? So many questions...
Maybe one or both of them might have found a place to work and earn money for things they need. Fast food places, auto repair shops, painting, a builder's assistant, etc. Dunno.
I do wonder if she wants to get back home...
Wondering how her family is getting through this.

Press got bored with this case and moved on. Every day that passes I feel Sophia and her unborn baby are in greater danger.

I just keep hoping that LE is quiet because they're onto something with these two and that Sophia is safe.

I think they could be found if need be. Depends on what the crime is. Not much effort is going to be put into this case. If it were a high profile crime then they would have been tracked down by now.

I can see them not being found until they come into contact with law enforcement and then they will be taken into custody. If they are in Mexico they may never be found.

I can see having the baby as a problem for them as far as keeping under the radar. Just hope they don't try and have the baby on their own. Not sure if a Mexico hospital would connect the dots and alert the US authorities.
