Found Safe WI - SMF, 16, Beaver Dam, 2 Feb 2025 *3 mo's pregnant, believed to be with 40-year-old father of the baby*

In that scenario, I can almos hear him saying "She left me, taking off with another man" -.-
Or, 'we had a fight in the car, she wanted to get out, I drove off, when I came back, she was gone'. If I had a dollar for every time I'd heard that one, I could buy myself a large fancy coffee at the outlet of my choosing.

MOO

I believe they went to Mexico during the first few days after them leaving. While LE was still searching locally.
They may have used their passports, the border patrols do not register them. I am always referring to Hannah Kobayashi who went to Mexico completely undetected.
Has it been reported that SF has a passport and if so is it missing?

Not in any MSM that I've seen. I believe this is just speculation.

If they are in Mexico, I am not too worried about her getting medical care, tbh. The bigger places have very decent gynecological hospitals and doctors. Many people speak English and there are plenty of American expats, so they wont even look special or suspicious to locals.
Is that under the assumption that they have out of pocket money to pay for it?

We are assuming he may run out of cash, but what if he has some cryptoaccount and buys only online?

I don't think we've seen any information that he even had a job, so I think a cyrpto account seems unlikely, imo.

An interesting possibility.
If the feds have your name can they find out of you do own any crypto currency?
And if you do they go from there?
Purchases have to be shipped to an address.
I know zilch about it.

She was 3 months pregnant when she went missing the first week of February. We don’t know if she was just 3 months or closer to 4. Given she had had her ultrasound and testing (which presumably is how they knew the sex), I’d assume she was more like 3.5, closer to 4, especially since she obviously got pregnant before she was brought home in December. Keep in mind that pregnancy is dated from date of last menstrual cycle, so you’re already 1 month pregnant when you find out. I’m guessing she is now approaching 6 months, nearly 3rd trimester.

I would guess she is due mid-July to mid-August. She will be more obviously pregnant now visually. She’s also getting to the stage when she really does need a check over. And they must realise that time is running out. While teens do hide pregnancies and birth unattended all the time, this surely is less than ideal and they both must know it. I’m a grown woman who has had all my babies at home with a midwife and no pain relief (by choice), but even I would be scared to do it alone. And I’m not a 16 year old girl under duress with a possible undiagnosed complication. For her sake and her child’s, I hope he does the right thing and gets them the care they need.

It's not that easy for SF to get medical care.

And here I was today cringing thinking she's hit the 5 month mark w/o monthly check-ups.

SF would need to show her govt. ID to any clinics/doctors/hospitals that she's asking to be treated by.

Then there's the money factor
Assuming she's on her parents policy and even if she has an insurance card she is a minor and can't file the claim with the hospital, doctors etc.

No money, how can she apply for aid as a minor who's not emancipated?
She can't.

She won't be able to even walk in an ER give birth and then expect them to hand over her child w/o them verifying who she is and they may call in CPS ?
If that happened they would want to know who she is and where will this baby be living etc.

GFD had best not show his face...an older man with a pregnant teenager.

Could they be married?
That;s another dicey mess due to marriage laws from state to state and how they vary when your under 18.

Every step she would need to take to get medical assistance involves her identifying herself.

My bet is there is not active LE involvement. They're going to say there is and they'll claim its not a cold case or whatever language they want to use but no LE cares about this. IMO
Agree fully. Sadly no one is looking for them outside of Wisconsin, Missouri, Arkansas. There are plenty of other states to live in where they wouldn't even have to hide from the public because no one was alerted of their potential presence whatsoever. Did I read somewhere that he lived in Washington state before? Lots of places to hide out in the PNW

I really wish this case got more coverage. I suspect the vast vast majority of people in the US could walk right by them and have no idea. Although I suppose the positive side of that is it alleviates any pressure he may be feeling to do something risky like an illegal border crossing.
Agree, there are 47 other states, there's only an alert in 3/50 states. They wouldn't have to go very far to fly under the radar

I think they headed west. Did they have prior camping experience? You can camp for free out west. It's really easy to hide anywhere near or west of the continental divide.

Local people don't even pay attention to travelers because lots of nomads live on public lands throughout the western states. Even if they were staying in motels people probably wouldn't notice because there are so many travelers constantly moving around & just getting motels for occasional showers in between hiking, rafting, skiing, climbing, canyoneering, mountaineering, rock hounding etc

That's not even including run of the mill tourists briefly showing up to visit national parks & monuments, with increasing visitation yearly!

No one could ever keep track of all of these strangers coming & going

And she is 16, I believe some states have marriage licenses from age 16 on and also intercourse with a 16 year old is possibly not child abuse (dont know American state laws). So other than her family searching for her and reporting her missing, I do not think there is so much that LE can even do. Also if they were found. Hey I had a studymate who left her family to live with her boyfriend when she was 16, boyfriend was 20.

I am just afraid Sophia will be trapped in an abusive relationship/marriage like so many other women that married a much older man so very young. Some were murdered once they wanted to reclaim their freedom after a few years - Likely Patty Otto, Patricia McGlone and many more

Hopefully GFD's mother has been forthcoming with LE if anything was missing from their home like camping equipment etc.

There's still the food issue, gas money and possible car repairs(?) even if they pitched a freebie tent somewhere.

I can't imagine SF having to sleep in his car for 2 months.

We have no idea how much money they started with and I haven't read anywhere that GFD is armed so that's a relief, if true.
There's always the possibility that GFD met another psycho 🤬🤬🤬🤬 like himself online and this person became part of his kidnap plan giving him and SF shelter?

When they have to go out in public and if they don't do so together that in itself lowers the risk of them being identified.

Also SF's height and weight may act to her advantage in making her pregnancy less detectable.

It's possible where she is may have a safe harbor law that allows her to leave a baby at a hospital without providing information.

I don't expect either of them to leave the baby anywhere. She wants this baby because it's what he's "always wanted". He wants the baby to further tie his minor love interest to him. JMO that baby will not be turning up at any safe haven, although I sure hope to be wrong about that. Much safer for baby if I'm wrong.

Bold lines by me.
How on earth are they (he) pulling this off so long?
"She's my daughter or granddaughter or niece," etc. SMH.
I would like to know from where the money is coming... Any firearms?
This, as we often see, is one big mess and it's dangerous, IMO.
