Found Safe WI - SMF, 16, Beaver Dam, 2 Feb 2025 *3 mo's pregnant, believed to be with 40-year-old father of the baby*

To take it further, IMO-- from July-Dec, the parents didn't appear to have any concerns about what their 16 year old daughter was doing or where she was living; did they inquire if she was safe or whether she had enough food to eat? They had no contact until they IMO found out she was in AR. I wonder at what point they found out that she was pregnant.
All MOO
We don't know anything about her parents or their relationship with her, so I think these are unfair assumptions to make and verge on victim-blaming (implying that it's the parents' fault their child was abducted).

For all we know, she was in foster care or was legally emancipated or in some other arrangement where her biological parents didn't even have custody.

“Sophie has been gone for a week. We don’t know what to do other than wait and pray. It’s a torment. Her absence is felt every moment,” the parents said. “There is so much on the horizon for you, Sophie. Hard things, yes, but good things, too. And your family is here for all of it. We aren’t going anywhere — we just need you to come back. Your value isn’t found in how much money you make, how hard you work, or even the affirmation of others. Sophie, you are a soul made by God fully known by God and entirely loved by God. You are a gift to us.

I don't believe it can be assumed that she hasn't had natal care up to the point she went missing a week ago. We have only the information we have been given by LE. Why would LE announce info about her prenatal care?

ETA typically the first visit with a Dr. would take place between 6 and 10 weeks

It's really unsettling to me that he's already on felony probation & has now been charged with 4 more felonies. Could they have waited to pursue these new charges? Wouldn't he already have a warrant anyway due to violating his probation? Not a legal professional, so not sure how this works, but given the choice it doesn't seem like these new charges support her safety right now

The One In Five Foundation For Kids announced plans Wednesday for more than two dozen volunteers to search for 16-year-old Sophia Franklin.

Officials said the team of search volunteers was assembled from the nonprofit’s “STOPNOW” school community patrol teams. Search efforts will take place through foundation chapters throughout Missouri, Texas and Arkansas, according to the nonprofit.

Every day that passes my concern grows for this girl.

Come on SF, please come to your senses and do whatever it takes to extricate yourself from this situation and this man. Sweetie, he doesn't love you. He loves an idea of you. That kind of love won't ever allow you to grow into the young woman you were meant to be. That sort of love is contingent upon you being pliable, compliant, and revolving around him and his needs as if he is the sun.

You are the sun honey, you and your unborn child.

Franklin’s mother sent out some more information that wasn’t in the original Amber Alert, in the hopes of finding her daughter:

  1. She is wearing glasses.
  2. She does not look pregnant right now.
  3. She has been dealing with hives on her arms, legs and even face.
  4. Her eye makes an involuntary movement when she chews.
  5. She has been struggling with morning sickness.
  6. She has been wearing a rose gold ring with a pink, heart shaped gem on her left hand.

“In short, Sophie needs to come home and continue with the medical care she has been receiving for herself and the baby,” Franklin’s mother said in an email to press on Wednesday.

There's a little bit more to her mother's statement in this first article.

"We are so anxious for her to get the care she needs both physically and mentally."

Officials with The One In Five Foundation For Kids, a national nonprofit helping search for a pregnant Wisconsin teenager last seen Feb. 2, say they believe she is traveling through Iowa en route to Arkansas.

An AMBER Alert for a pregnant teenage girl from Wisconsin has been expanded to include several Mid-Missouri counties.

On Wednesday, the alert for Sophia Franklin, of Beaver Dam, Wisc., was issued for Boone, Cooper, Howard, Moniteau, Morgan, Pettis, and Saline counties.

The last time over the summer she seemed to stay in contact with her parents if not more people. This time nobody? Makes me a bit more concerned this may not stay gone by choice. Though under different circumstances reminds me a bit how Jaycee d was kept hidden in a backyard for years. She’d had a baby too. Concerned how folks can get away with crime in plain site.

IMO in the summer she was staying in contact to keep her story telling alive, so that her parents would not suspect she was not with a friend in Beaver Dam. This time everyone knows, there is an ambert alert, and we do not know how dangerous this man is now that there is a nationwide manhunt. We do not know what is going on, how dangerous this man is, how far he is manipulating or menacing her etc. I fear the same, that now she has no choice at all.
But my question is : Who is helping him stay under the radar for so long ?
