WI - Woman lets boyfriend sexually assault her 2-month old daughter; planned it before baby was born - Madison, April, 2025

Incest isn't just about biology, though. It includes close nonbiological relations like step parents, step siblings, uncles and aunts by marriage, and non married partners of parents (ie. mother's boyfriend).

It's more about the closeness and dynamic of a relationship than biology, when in the context of sexual abuse.

MOO
According to the charge 948.06(1) I'd say he's the bio father. Which really, just makes it even worse. If possible.

Marries or has sexual intercourse or sexual contact with a child he or she knows is related, either by blood or adoption, and the child is related in a degree of kinship closer than 2nd cousin.

Case info: A Wisconsin couple are facing criminal charges after authorities allege the man sexually assaulted the woman's infant daughter while the mother helped him plan the crime prior to the baby's birth. On April 9, Skyler Klassen, 22, was arrested after officers with the Madison Police Dept. allegedly found child sex abuse material on his phone, according to a criminal complaint obtained by PEOPLE. At the time of his arrest, Klassen had an active warrant out of Nevada regarding child sex abuse material, per the complaint. Police claim Klassen admitted to sexually assaulting Madison Bishop's 2-month-old daughter. While looking through his phone, police allegedly found photos of the baby’s genitals & a video of the infant being digitally penetrated, according to the complaint. Police believe the alleged assault took place on April 7. During the search of his phone, police allege they also discovered graphic text messages between him & the baby's mother, indicating that they planned to sexually assault the child before she was born, the complaint states.
