Disgusting. Wholly upsetting that subhumans like this exist in this world. My mind wanders for every one of them that gets caught, how many more out there that haven’t been caught. Makes me sick to my stomach to even think about. I won’t be able to follow this case, don’t have the stomach for it.

Thoughts and prayers to the poor little baby victim, hopefully she’s been placed with safe, loving caregivers and receiving the love, care, support she rightfully deserves.

These sorts of cases upset me for all the obvious reasons, but also because it makes me realize how much suffering children have been experiencing throughout all of history. Think about how many horrible cases we have of kids being betrayed by their parents, slipping through the cracks in the system, etc...and that's just because people even TALK about this stuff now.

Humans really have both the best and worst creatures on this planet. What a truly bizarre species we are. I can only hope that every successive generation gets better at seeing, prosecuting, dealing with, and healing from these sorts of things, or we'll never get off this conveyor belt of trauma.
