If the decomp smell in the trunk was there before Caylee died, the so-called evidence doesn't mean a whole lot. Someone is manpulating evidence in a major way if a simple girl, Kiomarie, is merely telling the truth about what she heard.

In a July 9th phone conversation with Casey, when Casey called to borrow money, Kiomarie heard a little girl say, "mommy mommy mommy". Casey answered, "Not now honey, I'm on the phone."

I'm not sure KC has made up her mind what she is going to do or who is going under the bus yet. Remember, her only source of what is happening with her case is JB. Her only link, that we know of, to the outside world is JB. GA has said he doesn't like JB, and I'm sure he's not the only one in the family who feels that way.
At this point, CA, GA, and LA better worry about their own azz-cause KC is only worried about hers!!

It's gonna be great to see this one unfold. If LE charges LA/CA/GA with serious charges...they roll over on her or each other to get off..it will be "game on". But thats icing on the cake, with what they have, but it's LE's oldest trick (divide and conqour) next to the ones the "A"'s already fell for ("you missed your calling") HAHAHA (GA telling him he was "one of them")

For someone like KC who claims to be into CSI, she needs to go back and watch "Columbo" where he got 'em everytime by letting them believe they were sooo smarter than him:woohoo:

I've thought of that. KC is probably the only one in a total news blackout. I'd be interested in knowing if JB is telling her that she's probably the most hated woman in Florida. He might be in there saying, "The people are behind you, babe!"

This is JMO but, my stepson is a sociopath, so I have been a witness to they way they act, charm, manipulate, decieve, lie, lie, lie, steal, etc. He has lied directly to me about myslef! And you can look them dead in the eye and they believe what is coming from their mouth because it in one way or another will only benefit them. But, their planning is not very detailed or organized. The elaborate stories that they tell give you the impression that there was a lot of thought, but as questions are asked their story gets changed just a little to make more sense why they can't answer the questions being asked. They depend alot on coincidence or unkown factors which can't be readily negated. Flying by the seat of their pants if you will. If you are a fairly normal person without a personality disorder of sorts, to watch this unravel in front of you is stunning. AND just like CA, GA and LA....my husband and the mother of the child bought almost every story, hook line and sinker! There wasn't a authority figure in his life that would call him out. Very similar to KC's. Almost as if there was this underlying fear of rejection from the child (IMO). I was amazed. I don't think the nut fell far from the A's tree. CA has some mistruths out there and similar behaviors to her daughter.

Wait, I'll be right there too!!!:)
Oooooh, now that sounds like some kind of interrogation down at the Waffle House!:blushing:

I love the waffles. I'll be the note taker in between bites.

I don't disagree with you at all. I doubt any of the Anthony's think much of JB. It is scarey to think HE is her only source to the out side world.

I hear you TSaver - we have one in our family as well. Very similar to Casey and the family member you described. I am a firm believer that these people become the way they are because they never have consequences for their actions. Their lies are never contested...and they are never held responsible for their own choices. They are NOT mentally ill - they know what they are doing is wrong....they just don't care. They don't care because they do what they want and nobody challenges them. The consequences just aren't there because someone always bails them out.

I do not think the defense will argue insanity. She is not legally insane and has no documented history of that. Obviously the court appointed psychiatrists didn't think she was mentally ill or they wouldn't have approved her bail out. I think at least for now....her defense will have to consist of blasting LE as much as possible. Trying to discredit the state's theory and practices rather than supporting a theory of their own. Though not required to do so - they will eventually have to present some theory of their own if they hope to sway the jury. JMO.

I am sorry you have to deal with this, but I agree with you, TSaver. After listening to the LA interview I fully believe KC came up with the kidnap story on the fly at the moment he asked her what she was going to say or do when the police arrived and said let's go and get your daughter!
The family has enabled her and have allowed her to embellish this story, even CA telling LE that this was whole backwards thing was making sense to her.
Sheesh.

I also think she made this stuff up on the fly...which is why most of it was quickly proved to be a total lie. She sticks with the story of leaving Caylee with the nanny because nobody has been able to present evidence to contradict her on that part yet. It really irks me to no end that in their interrogations, LE didn't ask her why an un-employed single mother living with her parents would need a nanny? And what did she pay her with? And what did she do all day if she wasn't at "work"? To the best of my knowledge they never asked her that and she has never offered that up. It would have been interesting to see what she came up with "on the fly" for those questions.

I voted I'm not sure because on the one hand, KC, having always gotten away with her lies, is accustomed to sticking with her "stories" and eventually, things are either fixed or just dropped by her parents. Additionally, one of the jailhouse visit videos showed KC telling CA how she had given ZFG a key to the house at some point. To me, CA looked and sounded completely baffled by this information, but KC insisted she'd told her that before. While obviously not sure, CA certainly didn't argue the point. This was KC planting the seed to explain everything away that the nanny did it. This is one reason I think perhaps KC will stick to the ZFG story to the very end. On the other hand, she might actually be persuaded by her attorneys to explain things away as having been an accident (though I don't believe that), since they may not be able to determine a COD and she might do time but get out in 5 years or so. Though not sure, I lean towards KC sticking to her guns just because she's going to think that there aren't 12 people who wouldn't believe her version of events.

I also remember Casey telling some that "the nanny " had money , bought Caylee all kinds of toys and her own set of clothes to have at her house too. So why would a welthy nanny , who was with the child actually more than Casey, do harm to Caylee? Why would a wealthy nanny do such a thing?
And why did Casey, an unemployed high school drop out, need a nanny in the first place? Hmmm.

And, most of all, I would like to know how she payed for it not to mention all of the little "extra" activities Nanny payed for!!!

And didn't Cindy claim that she found out Casey wasn't working soon before all this broke out. Seems stupid that she wouldn't have asked...uh, Casey dear, how are you paying this Nanny? Or maybe at least one time in 1 1/2 years she would have asked her what the weekly or monthly rate was..but Nooooo. Apparently, in all that time, she never asked 1 question about the Nanny of her grandchild that lived with her.

Really now what person what type of Grandma wouldn't ask for the phone number or at least ask Casey if Zanny had her # for an emergency contact?

IMO, if the defense tries a change of venue to Miami, the SAO will counter with Collier County (Naples)...as it is much smaller and alot of media attention doesn't get soaked up there. As defense would want Miami for the less trust in LE, SAO would want Naples because of it's high income, and a jury of older retired wealthy whites will really throw the book at her.

IMO Naples would be a great place (for the prosecution) to hold trial. I live near this area and it is filled with "doting grandparents". The 'retirement population' ratio is very high in Naples!

You know I saw the "key" discussion a bit differently. To me it sounded like Cindy throwing Casey a lifeline. I thought it was Cindy who asked her if she had given anyone a key to the house. Then Casey seemed to pick up on that real quick and said "yes...she had given one to ZFG". I think Casey thought there was some reason she should say yes to that one. She didn't offer up the key - Cindy brought it up. It was almost like Cindy was saying..."You gave someone a key didn't you Casey? Someone else could have done this right Casey?" And she jumped on it.

There were a few other instances where Casey seemed to be "reacting" to what Cindy was saying and carefully choosing her responses. She almost said that the photo of Caylee in front of the drums was taken at Zani's apartment...but Cindy jumped in and said she knew where the pic was taken -and Casey did a quick about-face and said it was at Ricardo's. I think she would have lied and said Zani's...but then she knew her mom knew the truth. I saw Cindy leading Casey...and Casey just saying what they wanted to hear.

I understand that these are examples, and while not impossible, highly improbable based on what evidence has been available so far.

I agree.

Lol, a many Universe's enthusiast lending credence to a wealth of additional perspectives. Welcome to WS! JB does have his work cut out for him.

Fixed! :thumb: Thanks!

I could see that and I think she could pull it off!! Only a crazy can portray another crazy and pull it off realistically!

I love your avatar essies. Makes me laugh every time I see it. :rolling::rolling::rolling:

 That would have been awesome to see what she came up with then.

I kept waiting for that question to surface as well, especially at the room at Universal. I think LE were  flabbergasted at this creature they were questioning.
I recall CA, and I think GA telling LE that they would catch KC in a lie by looking her in the eye, keeping after her, etc...and yet, when it came to something so important, they employed their parental skills in making her outlandish stories fit somehow.
She changed her story to include BP and being pushed down on the 14th.
Was this supposed to be June 14? But, instead of denouncing this as another lie, CA began taking up LE time by trying to decode it.
I do think she will change her story again. I think she will be checking the Tip Line for ideas.
Is there a thread for things that defy logic?

Agree! She told her "I know whose apartment that is," and KC responds, "That is Ricardo's. Zani's apartment is set up remarkably like Ricardo's." CA couldn't have fed her any better with a spoon! Which makes me think of that first jail visit. "We forgive you for anything you have done or said."
"Oh, I haven't said anything. Don't worry." :waitasec:

I hear you. I think they were definiely flabbergasted. It is easy for us now to think of questions we would like to ask.

I also wished that they would have stopped talking so much and let her respond. I can't count the number of times they interupted her after asking her something. She loves to talk....she could easily contradict herself or say something incriminating. Isn't that the first rule of interrogation - get the suspect to talk? Then why keep cutting her off? ARG!

As far as the A's - I think you are right about looking her in the eyes to get her to tell the truth. That's probably why Casey and Cindy ended up arguing so much...so Casey wouldn't have to look her mom in the eyes. She just blows up, walks off and says "I'm done. This is a huge waste."
