Sorry for the multiple posts on this - I just wanted to post an update that the car burning at Green Acres mall is now being reported as a double suicide. So it appears no relation to the Jones Beach burning car.
Females dont usually get together and set themselves on fire. What is the official cause of death?

So far, they haven't released any additional info that I have been able to find. And yes I agree, rather odd.

I found an older case of a body in a burning car that was an 'apparent' suicide. IMO that is a very odd and illogical explanation:

Police say blaze was suicide
Cruz, Wil. Knight Ridder Tribune Business News; Washington [Washington]05 June 2006: 1.
Jun. 5--The body of a man was found yesterday inside a burning Jaguar in a school parking lot in North Merrick, an apparent suicide, police said.
Shortly after noon, neighbors called police and reported hearing a "loud, popping noise" near Merrick Avenue off the Southern State Parkway, said Kevin Power, commanding officer of the county's Arson/ Bomb squad. When police and the North Merrick Fire Department responded, they found the car in the parking lot of the Brookside School at 1260 Meadowbrook Rd.
"When they arrived, they saw the subject in the vehicle," Power said at the scene. "It was fully engulfed in flames."
Firefighters said they were unsuccessful in attempts to rescue the man, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police said they had not identified him last night.
A fire chief received a hand injury, which did not appear serious. The fire was not considered suspicious, police said, and was under investigation.
As detectives huddled near the blackened silver Jaguar, a white blanket was draped over the driver's side. Police said the body of the man was still inside.
No other vehicles were in the lot and the school was unoccupied, police said.

Maybe lisk found a new way to dispose of the bodies after they are done filming

IDKW but this case interests me. The tattoos make it seem like she was a real hardcore girl. Not a wimp. It is interesting as well b/c my possible match to fire island jane doe had a spider tattoo and this UID has a black spider tattoo. I honestly can't believe this UID is still unidentified given the amount of tattoos she had! But we do know LISK typically obscures tattoos and this wouldn't match his MO. Still.. She makes me wonder. Kind of reminds me of "Monique" the UID found Jan. 4, 2015.

These incidents happened around the same time. I believe these murders were likely gang related.

That case has stood out to me too! I thought the same thing about the tattoos -so many, so specific, an ID should be easy... I've looked for matches too and it's tough. I wouldn't say that the lack of tattoo damage would rule her out since we only know for sure that that was done to JT's tattoo. Something makes me think that if this woman were a drifter she may have been from somewhere on the West Coast -possibly Portland, OR. I wonder what the two pairs of panties is about?

Like i have always said: They will catch THEM if they want to catch THEM. Detectives would give their right arm to catch them and think if they poke around too much they will have to give their heads. IMHO

This case is UNOFFICIALLY CLOSED.

He's made mistakes, one being those phone calls to Melissa's sister. That gave the police a lot of information on him and there are things we don't know that the Police do and there keeping it close to the vest... that being said, it's going to be hard... he'll be caught when he tries to kill again and his victim escapes or he makes more calls and the police track him down and capture him...

I guess it really doesnt matter. It looks like the killer or killers will get away with murder. And the families will be jerked around for years to come.

You could be right Deedee21 just like the gang murders in Long Island and Marty being framed. I pray that the FBI is actually doing something to get to the bottom of this. It heinous. The families of the victims must be out of their minds with the lameness going on with Suffolk County Law Enforcement. I know, my family went through this horror.

Yesterdays news placed part of SC gang problem on Burke. LE has to play catch up now. I guess it has to do with Burke breaking up the Gang Task Force.

Ultimately it was that what put him in jail. The cops he messed with had the ear of the FEDS and that was that.

I'd like to ask a few simple questions I'm sure have been gone over a million times.

Why isn't carney construction crew talked about more here?

What are some ways you can get an escort to leave her personal belongings behind to go with a John?

The CCC link always looked big to me. Connects a lot of big name long islanders connected to the case and the girls. CCC connects Hackett to Brewer and others right? Connects these guys to both Shannon and Amber.

This is a group of guys, high level professionals with access to the medical and law enforcement fields. They had involvement with prostitutes- finding them, using them, threatening them. Evidence of their misdeeds is forever left in forum posts they made long ago. They had a falling out with Hackett in which he was accused of being too weird even for them.

Curious why this group has been eliminated or not more frequently talked about. To me, a lot of the LISK screams multiple people with law enforcement and big money involved. Which brings me to my first question. How do you get an escort to go with a John without her possessions? Money, threats, familiarity. A powerful group of long islanders has the means for money and threats. Are there any others? Can anyone invent a situation where a pro would do this for not one of those motivations?

Sinix, Im not sure theres much left to be said about CCC. Its up to LE to vet them. We dont know if LE considers any of its members suspects or not. It doesnt matter. They screwed up this case.
I dont believe anyone was told to leave their phones behind. Theres no basis for the rumor.

Thanks clarifying that part was rumor.

As for CCC, I see they were discussed on numerous sites to death years ago so I have to believe that avenue had to be thoroughly exhausted one way or another. But you say nothings really come of it? Usually with groups that have a certain amount of members and pressure gets put on, someone spills the beans about something. If the stories with them were true and I guess thats a big if, it connects a lot of names connected to the lisk story, local law enforcement and provides a motive behind their epic incompetency on this case.
