Several of the girls ads were still up on Backpage last time I checked (which was several months ago). In fact, if memory serves, it seems like I couldn't find any of the girls on CL because they delete them after a time. Backpage doesn't.

I'm never so sure on the "They can't just stop"

Gary Ridgway killed 45 women from 1982 to 1984, and then only killed four women between 1985 and 2001. So it's entirely possible that he just slowed way down.

I have 2 guesses:
1) We just have found the other sites. IMO this is the more likely of my 2 guesses.
or
2) It really was JB (the guy who committed suicide the day after Shannan's body was recovered). IMO this is entirely unrelated to the Gilgo bodies but who knows.

I seriously doubt he's stopped. He may at this point have stopped killing for the time being but I can almost guarantee there are plenty of victims that he leaves alive out there.

I assume you are a 'working girl' and you use the services of CL, BP etc. I also assume a part of your business relies on your advertising and your ability to communicate with potential customers. I think this means you can only reject so many incoming or return calls when the calls are made within the rules - No blocked calls, etc., This means a cop can call you pretty much at will and can get your attention, bring you in and question you as to what you MAY know about the killer.

Now you may be more alert than others to this plan, but others are not. There are a lot of posts out there on the Internet.

Not making appointments after advertising is like Macy's offering a sale with a store opening at 10AM and they are closed when you get there. Maybe they open at 11, 12, or maybe not at all. The cops can reel the gals in most anytime they want.

My prediction: the LISK will be caught when they catch the guy who used MB's cellphone to call MB's sister, and MB's "boyfriend" JT.
MB's Mom has told us that she kept paying the phone bill on MB's phone for a year after she went missing. And that the caller would only turn the phone on to place the calls to the sister. I guess we have been assuming that the same phone was used to call JT 30(?!) times. I wonder if the phone records of MB's cell indicate all those calls to JT also. And if there is any pattern between when "he" (LISK) called the sister and when he called JT, and if he ever kept the phone on long enough to place calls to each. Somebody knows.
Are we asuming that ALL calls to MB's sister AND ALL calls to JT came from the aforementioned locales, i.e., Times Square, Port Authority, Empire State, etc.?

As far as we know, this is the only "hard" evidence they have if they even have it at all. Could LE narrow it down to one suspect with only this info? I think it could be possible. I would almost bet they have a strong POI and are remaining tight lipped until the guy slips up. And would those taped call be admissable in court?

I KNOW OF ONE POI that had taken up residence in the above areas as well as Oak Beach. He is a convicted high end drug dealer whose arrest spurred a federal probe into corruption in Suffolk County. When he go out of prison he went into the sex trade business.

He hailed from the area near Oak Beach. Did his drugs thereat, and was convicted of drug dealing while so located. Went to jail and came out and went into the porn related business. A few years later he bought a house in Oak Beach.

Recently I came across another startling piece of information that ties one of my theories as to why the case might not be solved directly back to Suffolk County in a way that would startle you. I just can't prove it - YET.

All I know is the DAM known as the SCPD is leaking with no Dutch Boy to put his finger in the Dyke.

If the police have a voice on the phone they would have at least have a very important lead to follow. However, without knowing more my gut feeling tells me that even if this is true it is not the killer.

There are a lot of strange people out there with nothing better to do than to insert themselves into a case if only to torture the families of the victims.

I know what I would do, or suggest doing given all the facts is to put that voice on the air with the hope someone will recognize it and report it to the police. I see no reason why at least redacted portions of the tape can be played for the public.

One reason why the police haven't put this over the air is because they already know who the caller is and they know that person is not the killer. I suspect that person will be dealt with this when the time is right.

Some how this nut job got a hold of the phone and decided to have some 'fun' There are a lot of evil and sick people in this world that live for these moments.

Let me tell you folks this: This country has the capability of snatching billions of phone calls out of the air and match up the voices to person's of interest, in particular, terrorist related investigations.

Um no, the reason I wasn't caught is because I won't just see any guy that has $300. I've had plenty of cops call me and I know this because of alerts that were posted on boards with the same # that called me who I refused to see for whatever reason.
I actually do see cops but they pay and aren't looking to arrest me.

Can you tell me a little bit about the Sexyjobs site? Do you get alot of business from your ads there? Is the clientelle any different than the clients you get from BP? And are your services from Sexyjobs shopped more for the type of work you're looking to do, or your physical type?

To the best of my knowledge, Maureen was the only one of the GB4 who posted on this site. But it's the perfect site for someone looking to book very definite physical "types", as LISK obviously does, so I'd like to know as much about it as I can.
