He had reportedly trimmed his beard into a short style shortly before his disappearance. Despite extensive searches of several hundred acres in the surrounding area, his whereabouts remain unknown.

Has anyone seen a middle name or initial for him? There are a lot of William Harrels in the public record system in TN. There is a William (no middle name or DOB) Harrell in Union County (where he was last seen) with numerous charges including public intoxication, indecent exposure, driving on a remoked license, theft and drugs but without a middle name or DOB in the court record it could simply be someone in his county with his name.
