There seems to a disconnect from normal society in the family. It appears that the house operated on lies and it was the norm. They lied to each other and it was easier just to believe each other's lies. When they realized that the rest of the world doesn't operate in this manner they were shocked and now feel that anyone that doesn't believe their lies are the bad people. It appears from interviews and by lawyer action that their only goal and thought process has nothing to do with Caylee, but revenge and retribution against those that don't buy into their culture of lies. Meanwhile they fund raise for Casey's defense.
"Closed system" famlly. Not healthy.

It should be easy enough to find out with the pings.

This blackjack mystery is going to be what puts me in a room with 4 padded walls and a hairbrush.

FYI - I found pics, etc. of both phones, and I will post what I find in the phone thread, so that we don't go off topic.

<<And yes, I agree, Cindy will blame everyone but the one responsible,>>

I think that was Casey's whole plan when making up the "kidnapping" story. She created someone to take the blame. She couldn't blame a real person because that story could be verified. By creating a "nanny", she now has someone to point to that can't be traced or verified. If and when a body is found, it's going to be "see, that's why I didn't call the police in the first place. It's everyone else's fault that Caylee is gone".

Yep! Then, prosecution will ask how the "nanny" managed to get the body in and out of the trunk, while KC had the car, and without KC noticing the smell.

I feel he should fulfill the requirement that he has yet to fulfill by Florida law. The training he has yet to take and be certified on involves two issues he seems to lack - professionalism and ethics. What lawyer meets 6-8 hours daily with a client day after day, hold hands, whispers in their ear, makes house visits, provides security, spends hours of phone time, hires PI's to chase useless leads, and then has to petition the prosecution for anything that would help defend his client. He has nothing.

Especially when he attacks the "history of polygraphs." That's scraping BENEATH to bottom.

I think he said and this isn't a direct quote, that wasn't my granddaughter in my granddaughter's car. You need to get your facts straight.

I found it to be refreshing myself. At least one person in that family has some sort of human emotion.

And, who likely won't be married, much longer.

More than anyone else in that family, George KNOWS what he smelled in the car. It's time for him to be a man and acknowledge that Caylee is dead and KC is responsible.

I agree Cali - and I wonder if he is working behind the scenes? It seems he offered information to LE that surely got him in trouble with his wife.

Baez said he does not believe in GJ proceedings! They present one side of the story.

OMG. That's just so dumb, unless he thinks the viewers are? :boohoo:

ETA: I *think* he was downplaying as the injured party, the LE have villified my client in the media through leaks of 'incorrect' and unfounded evidence, i.e., sorta/kinda falling on his sword to seek some public sympathy.

The whole point of a GJ is for the prosecution to float their case and determine its validity and nature of charges NOT to be fair and balanced!

JB should run his own 'GJ' workshops to test the defense and watch it bomb.

I'm really surprised that Casey and co. didn't seek out a more experienced criminal attorney for her cause..the stakes are pretty high to trust her defense to this guy...

Maybe they couldn't get a high-flyer to pro-bono?

When's the last time we saw CA and GA's attorney? Wasn't he gonna do a massive public relations blitz?

No kidding. Having the guy who grins like a circus clown (makes me think of the words clown stomp) who buries the courts in silly motions is precisely why she will be going away for a long time. I hope his career drys up when she is convicted with 2 hours of deliberations. Just a dream I guess.

And, the "two hours" includes breakfast.

"...He also wants the judge to order the state to turn over any evidence favorable to his client, such as names of people who might help establish Anthony's innocence and the names of any undercover agents in the case..."

Um, then they wouldn't be UNDERCOVER anymore! :waitasec:

LOL She has a scrapbook! Sheesh!

She and her mother, Cindy Anthony, arrived together at 10:45 a.m. Casey Anthony was clutching a notebook with the words 'Media Coverage' on the side.
~snip~

Okay...I am obsessed with the "Where's Caylee" tee shirt, or today, the lack thereof....

Seems to have been replaced and I'm intrigued by the timing. (ETA, still with the stolen sunglasses though!)

Thanks for the link Tippy!! Is it me or does Cindy look extremely thin?? This is really taking a toll on her no matter how much on outward appearances she tries to stand by her daughter. I truly believe she KNOWS the truth but is having a hard time facing it.

I know this is wrong, and I probably shouldn't do it, but...whenever I hear or read about someone taking the 5th, I immediately think "GUILTY!!!!!". Can't help it, innocent people would have no reason to take the 5th (IMHO).

I don't think Cindy will let him!!!

So I wonder what Cindy threatens him with? Divorce him...or not divorce him? Call him bad names? Cut him off? I personally don't find her all that scary. People treat you the way you let them treat you. The thing about handing your control over to someone else is you can always take it back. The problem with that is you can't blame them anymore.

The A's can take the fifth. I think they will.

IIRC- the fifth amendment protects a person from incriminating themselves in a crime they committed, or have involvement with, even after the fact knowledge of a crime that -say- they chose to keep quiet about for instance.

If the A's are called to testify at the GJ and take the fifth, that is an admission by omission of their guilt/involvement in SOME way in the alleged crime.

While the private investigators were enroute to meet with the man, he was picked up by ZFG in a spaceship being piloted by ET. Baez is now trying to contact Cpt. James T. Kirk of the Starship Enterprise to see if he will take time out from his 5-year-mission to pursue these scalawags! Updates coming soon.
Lanie
edited to add: And also for Casey to demonstrate an act of good faith by returning ET's sunglasses.

Others, who are current re: Captain Kirk's second career, contacted him at the Boston law office, where he has practiced (under an assumed name) since retiring from the Starfleet.

"Defend KC?" James T. Kirk, Esq. snorted. "I'd rather bite a Klingon!"

Rumors that law office staff have been told to refuse CA's calls are unconfirmed.

:blowkiss:Thanks Lanie!

Question:

When ET phones home, will there be an "Extraterrestrial Pings" thread? Cuz those ping experts over there, have some fantastic maps and are already working double overtime.

Lemme tellya those "roving charges" will killya.

Two more items have been added to the list of issues to be discussed Friday at a hearing at the Orange County Courthouse. Anthony's attorney, Jos Baez, is asking Circuit Judge Stan Strickland to seal Anthony's home-confinement schedule -- dates and times when she leaves her house for appointments.

He also wants the judge to order the state to turn over any evidence favorable to his client, such as names of people who might help establish Anthony's innocence and the names of any undercover agents in the case.

Undercover agents? Interesting!

I just threw up a little in my mouth.
