Joanna Dennehy killed for the hell of it.

There's typical, and then there's always that outlier who bucks the trend.

I think that unless she was robbing them, it would be hard to substantially benefit from killing strangers, which two of this woman's victims seem to be.

I believe it's a Sikh patka, a kind of 'under turban' often worn by boys.
I believe the surname Kauldhar is of Indian origin.
Does she have a tattoo between her eyebrows in the mugshot? A triangle, maybe?

I wonder if she's part of an alternate spiritual community. I doubt it's Kundalini - based on my casual practice of Kundalini yoga, dedicated Kundalini as taught by Yogi Bhajan (sometimes called American Sikhs) wear white, not pastel pinks and purples.

Did any of the articles tell where she is presently living? Apologies if I missed that.

She also has a ring in her nose
Is it supposed to be of any significance?

I don't know.

But the patka is unusual.

That combined with a South Asian surname, with a person who (to my eyes) appears white makes me wonder.

I absolutely could be wrong, and if I am, that's fine.

This article calls her "a Toronto woman". Answering my own question.

Well,
Her "not quite right here" look in the mugshot
tells its own story IMO.
As in the other photo with bizarre outfit.

RIP to the victims :(

''On Wednesday at 2:49 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a disturbance report in John Allan Park in the Falls. Officers found an adult male suffering from critical injuries. Despite heroic efforts by firefighters and paramedics, Fallsview Casino cook Lance Cunningham, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene. He had been walking his dogs.''

''On Thursday around 12:26 p.m., Hamilton Police received a 911 call asking for an ambulance in a MacNab St. N. parking lot. An unresponsive male identified as retired 77-year-old former high school teacher Mario Bilich was found with significant injuries consistent with a stabbing. He later died in hospital.''
“He [Bilich] was very well-known and had many family and friends in the area,” Hamilton Police Det. Sgt. Sara Beck said.''

'Female serial killers are rare. The last time a woman was charged with multiple homicides in Canada was killer nurse Elizabeth Wettlaufer.'

Just in case, noting this missing female.. speculation, imo,

If we're comparing to the photo with the shopping trolley, she looks about the right height, hard to tell build with that heavy jacket, and I think the queried person with the trolley has heavier, longer, darker eyebrows. But with that quality resolution, it's very hard to tell.

One has to wonder how she was able to easily kill a 47-year-old man. I suspect both "random" killings were essentially ambush-style stabbings at the outset.

IMO, whatever dark path had captured her mind turned compulsive, irresistible, in recent days. It's tragic that other people had to pay the price for what appears to be her final capitulation to madness.

And neither of these two men didn't see a knife? Or, do we know what she killed them with for it to be considered stabbings'?
