Woman fends of robber with stapler

I heard a headline this morning about at woman in DesMoines who fended off a knife weilding robber using a stapler. Has anyone heard about this? I'd love to read about this one. Sounds great to me. If you have more info, please post it.

I havn't heard anything about this, but it sure is funny. Can you imagine someone running off a robber using a stapler. How great. I will have to see if I can find that story. Know of a url? I will post it if I find it! lol

Having dyslexia of anything mechanical I can tell you from experience staples hurt when shot out of the electric staple gun! :doh:

I always thought a nice contractor's quality at-the-ready battery powered staple gun would be a fantastic thing to carry in the car for protection. Imagine the shock of it-ping-ping-ping-ping! OUCH!
