Woman Gives Birth To Octuplets II

I found the story of OM making her mother get in the trunk rather sadistic, when she was younger. (the mother had been out feeding feral cat colonies that she tried to take care of with food, shots and fixing. Somewhere along the way, she needed Nadya to drive her somewhere, so Nadya said she smelled of cat spray, thus telling her mother that the only way she was going anywhere was to get in the trunk, so she did) OM was laughing about it as she told how she drove in a crazy way to scare and make her mother roll around in the the trunk, and then went on to drive in a way to make her mother think they were getting in a wreck. Now, that is mean... and sadistic...

Craig Piligian, head of Pilgrim, said the material is "really jaw-dropping in some moments, really compelling stuff."

Well . . . there ya go :D

I didn't watch. I did pass over the channel and paused for a moment and thought better about lingering. I didn't see anything jaw dropping, I did get to see the one little boy calling Octo the "B" word (at least that's what flashed on the bottom of the screen). WOW!

She's definately a couple apples short of a peck. JMO!

Just curious, is it possible that her mom is so angry, hurt, exhausted etc, etc, that she is really acting out of frustration. Nadya has said they were never close, she's always been cold blah blah. But her dad has said it really hurts him to see them together now because he remembers what a loving relationship they used to have...

I have a daughter who has issues (Nothing like these Thank GOD), but it is hard sometimes. This was the child who made me a mother, something I think I started looking forward to as a child. If our situation was as difficult, painful and hurtful on a day to day, played out in public basis, I don't know what I would do. How I would act. I've had the strength not to become spiteful or whatever the right verb is that defines the relationship between Nutya and Octo Gram. But I can see the pain in Angela that may have a lot to do with her behavior. Not that it makes her behavior right, just maybe understandable.

Oh, I definitely think that could be the case, and I thinking about that last night after watching the show. I think it's sad all around. I feel bad for her mother, her father and mostly her kids. The situation never should've happened in the first place. Nadya definitely has some issues that were never taken care of. I do hope that the family can come together for the children at least, and I hope they can have somewhat of a normal life.

ETA: That's why I put I had the right to change my opinion in my post last night. Ha! :crazy:

I watched the show, too... my perception of her mother wasn't that of her being a b*tch... she was just trying to make OM understand the reality of what was going on... as well, she was concerned about the children and was trying to make sure Nadya wasn't putting the kids in danger, as proof by her showing up on the doorstep demanding to know whey social services had been to the house over one of the kids getting injured.

Wha? There needs to be a new human emotion for what I am feeling from reading your post re: OM.

I was reading this thread back before she got on Radar, I stopped reading when I watched her on Dr. Phill. Couldn't take it.

I knew the special was going to air. Purposely did not watch it. Purposely came here to see what you guys had to say.

Got way more than I bargained for...mother and daughter are toxic and dysfunctional. Seeing NS with all her children laying/splayed out on the bed, all crying out for her, is more than I can take. Then knowing there are older ones, also in need of her attention.

Child abuse. I call that child abuse. Jon and Kate too. I mean not to offend anyone at WS, I have respect for everyone who posts here: but these "families" are not my idea of family. Dens of dysfunction. And they all have money, attention and resources that millions and millions of people around the world do not have and will never have. Shameful they can not do better by their children.

Humanity has really got to do something about how and why we bring children into the world. And I don't mean anything even close to the "abortion" debate one way or the other. I mean making the decisions before there is a baby. And just giving kids condoms or talks won't do, when "grown adults" are given some kind of hero status and tons of money and attention just for: (I'm gonna say it) :bang:

Having Sex.
(and in the case of OM, not even doing that) :rolleyes:

Before I read the posts I want to add my 2 cents on last nights program.
OM's older children were not and still do not get the attention they deserve, I base this on their behavior. I feel absolutely sorry for them.
The new babies will be the same. It broke my heart to see that some of them were crying on the bed and floor. IMO they just seemed to want to be held and cuddled. How can anyone hold all 8 babies at once and give the attention they need to thrive.
I wish that this never happened. My heart goes out to all of the 14 children. I just cannot see them growing up to be happy well adjusted people.
This mother is a very selfish person and her 14 children will suffer for it.
I also feel sorry for OM's mother, she never wanted this to happen.

Yes yes yes....

She had these children for all the wrong reasons. She even admits it! But she "still doesn't get it".

Those older children have no discipline. Very little attention. The toddlers she has wonder around with the bigger ones picking on them.

I think she is trying with them, but she doesn't understand. Just because you can take your kids to a movie or to the beach or whatever doesn't mean they are getting the attention kids need. Kids need to tell you about school, about their friends. The kind of attention they get while doing something around the house like unloading the dish washer together or setting the table while mom or dad fixes dinner. Family time should mean the TV gets turned off once in a while, for a board game. Or crayons and paper. Taking a walk after dinner.

Those babies worry me even more. Does she know how to hold a baby? They are all old enough they should be smiling and cooing and laughing when someone puts their face in front of them. They don't even look or make eye contact. One of them is starting to roll over, do any of them hold their heads up?

I feel for Octo Gran, I don't think she's trying to be difficult. I think she's trying to make her daughter face reality and it's not working. Her father isn't helping IMO.

She ripped into Kate G for having a tummy tuck and wearing a bikini... when she did that I just had to shake my head at her. (well, not her, but the tv...)

I recorded the Octomom train wreck show and finally watched it. I fast forwarded a lot of it, though. She seems like one of those people who just talks to hear herself talk, and her voice is so annoying. I couldn't stand to see her miserable kids, either. During one part she took the older kids ice skating, and they were so unhappy. Another time she lifted each baby one by one to face the camera, and by the end of that they were all screaming. So sad.

One of the little ones vocabulary is pretty intense... was it JJ that called her a "b*tch"?

You shook your head :) I threw a couple Nerf balls at her! I feel so guilty, I wasn't going to watch... I really and truly wasn't. So I put it on and turned the volume off. Let it play in the back ground while I did other things. Then I started making excuses to come back into the room and stay a little longer.... :bang:

Kate+8 Tucks VS Octotucking well, you know Kate only had 6 at one time, Nutier had 8, eight's a lot more than 6 don't cha' know!!! And Nuttiest has 14 compared to K8's measly 8 total. Well Nutier, had those special sit ups that she started doing in the recovery room or some such nutysense too. Yep Nutier wins, she's the craziest!! It's been 5 yrs for Kate, 5 months for Nutier and (she) wants to do it naturally. :rolleyes: [.X.X.X.X.X.X.] VS [.X.X.X.X.X.X.X.X.] Well look at that, 8X's is 25% more than 6X's who knew? Do you think Nutier learned that in pre med school?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I caught her going into the KP NICU saying "I love it here, I feel so safe here." That is something I would expect to hear from a Munchausen’s mom. I hope they keep watching....
Anyone else catch how many times she got a baby's name wrong, till she switched to Angel? Have to admit giving them all the same middle name was genius for her...
I did listen to the parts where her mom was being interviewed. I loved when her mom ratted her out for getting her lips plumped!!! Last count, Nuttier claimed it was from Toxemia of pregnancy!! Yeah...NOT!!
911 call for JJ, when he was out with gma, then a new nanny. Last count he came home alone, she called 911 from "hormonal imbalance". :rolleyes::crazy:
JJ is the beautiful little 5/6 yr old who never wants to be on camera. B!tch baby is 2 yr old Caleb, aka Wild C Man. Or Wild man Caleb, who's vocabulary is about 20 words. The one he uses most often with the most clarity was B!TCH to his when talking to his Nota'ma.
It was also Caleb who was on the swing in his back yard, Elijah called his name, when he turned he was hit square in the face with pressurized water.
He kicked one of the babies, tried stepping on another ones head and tried to sit on Notama's lap while she was sitting on the grass, barely balancing the baby and her telephone so she put Caleb off on timeout again when he walked away calling her a b!tch.
Her mom asks "Is 14 enough?" Nuttier replies "It would be the epitome in selfishness to have more, even 1 more!!! And yet when she said she was having a partial hysterectomy she later recanted that, saying she was having a myomectomy Removal of polyps &/or fibroids, a procedure that not only left her uterus intact it enhanced her :eek: fertility.
:clap: missmybaby, on a great post (again!)
I love your creativity with Nadya, "Nota'ma's" name.
Having baby 15 would be the epitome of selfishness, wouldn't it? (Having 6 and adding 8 wasn't selfish at all... :censored:) She was pretty smart to give all the children the same middle name, she could have done what George Foreman did and named all her boys "George". :)
(I love closed caption!!) When they were on the bed watching :rolleyes: J&K, she didn't even try, she just called them "Angel.."
I was trying to figure out why her bedroom has 3 cribs, is it where the 3 toddlers sleep? Or is it the only way she can control/corral them? :doh:
:waitasec:Why doesn't she turn the downstairs "storage/junk room", into a bedroom for herself? Oh, that's right, someone might think she wants to be close to the babies.... :no: not gonna happen.
This was shown on the commercial, I don't recall seeing it during the show, she was playing "Name That Baby" she got several of them wrong the reporter said something to her and she replied "there are a lot of them, then giggled about it!! Like a contestant trying to win a game show!! NAME THAT BABY!! "I have so many kids I can't tell them apart!! hahaha"... Just too sad.:cry:
After the commercial, they are (still) lying on the floor with balls around their heads and she picked them up one at a time. I wonder if they had put the babies names on the back of their Onsey? :confused:
#31 "He's a pig, he just ate, he wants more, he's a glutton..." She moves on to #32 "blah blah he's the smallest", then #33 "I'm not going to pick him up, he's asleep. He's the smallest". Game show buzzer... EERRRTTT... wrong. #34- One of the girls she says, "Is a drama Queen" reminds me of "the little girl on The Grinch Stole Christmas." She loves 'em, but she sure doesn't like them.
I would love to have "Eyes for Lies" watch some video of her!!!
They used a little of the video shot at the Fondu Cafe, where she was talking about Octo Donor. The guy from Radar says "The last time you had sex was with the donor..." She replies "Oh, I don't like that word." :eek: I thought she meant 'donor' Then he replies "The last time you were intimate..." "No, don't not that word either! So he says "The last time you had something.... Do you still love him?" She starts waving her hands around. She acted like a little school girl, between the giggle and her replies.... Just like we talked about. I'm 99.9999% this is exactly what I thought earlier; if I have his kids he'll come around. When that didn't work she decided "If I can't have him. I'll have his babies."
She's pathetic, but very transparent.
What was the deal with her lifting the babies up and naming them -- she kept saying "...and s/he's really social." She kept repeating it with each kid. Does that come from her older child being autistic? So maybe she's trying to reassure people that these babies are "normal"?
  • #636
The show broke my heart. As a mommy myself, I just wanted to go there & pick those babies up & kiss & snuggle them. Something was very very wrong with that whole thing...
Those babies were 19 weeks old, they should be social! I was so angry watching that!! The commercial before that scene was when she kept screwing up their names. She couldn't tell them apart and she didn't know enough about any of them to give a real example of any of their personalities! Except the one she called a glutton and a pig!!
She's not a mother, she's a frivolous breeder. :furious: Her mother said this in the first interview and she was dead on. She also, according to her mother said she was done having babies many times before, some how she always made it back to the inseminator. :eek:
She makes me very angry. I'm so sorry for those babies.
Did you peeps notice when she got botox? I hadn't realized until I re-watched the interview at the fondue place compared to the 1st interview she did with her mom.. When she talked or tried to be animated only the skin right under the inner corners of her eyes & around the top of her nose moved!! It was bizarre!! Her forehead was smooth as a baby's butt.
Of course it was only wrinkled before because of her face being like a sponge from her toxemia. :rolleyes: (that and those fish lips :fish:) :yuck: Good thing she has those magic sit ups! :crosseyed: and rubber band skin...:woohoo::woohoo:
I was talking with someone at my doctors office about how these mothers of many multiples (momms) who live off of their kids seem to have similar personality traits. Kate and Nota'ma would never admit it but they are more alike than they are different. :crazy:
In your opinion, what similarities do you see in Kate and Nadya? (Do you see similarities in any of the other multiple moms that are on the television now, if you watch?)
I try not to pay much attention to either Kate or Nadya, but do they answer questions in interviews in the same "vague" (can't think of a better word to describe) way?
