I can't check but can someone go to www.kfi640.com and there is an audio on the front page called octomom offered help. Maybe that is it if anyone can check.

This whole case really leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Especially since I along with many here live in CA and are footing the bill for her outrageous behaivor.

Ms Suleman just continues to show she's not capable of raising all of those kids. Why on earth would you pay so much for a FOUR BEDROOM HOUSE when you clearly need more room. There's houses out there in America (in other areas) that you could buy for that kind of $$$ that'd have many more bedrooms than that. Assuming Nadya gets her own room, that's like 4.6 kids avg for the other 3 bedrooms left. Not to mention the elder Mrs Suleman is in foreclosure to the tune of $22+K, but Im sure Nadya or someone else will be getting this other house (as in legal title in her name, not her mother's). How is Nadya going to pay for all of this? With no job, drawing on her education funds to pay for the kids, etc.

Sorry but she IS being selfish. She IS exploting her kids. She IS getting "welfare" of sorts, in the form of food stamps & disability payments - plus MediCal will be paying the probably $2Mil hospital bill. Depsite Nadya's insistence she's not.

How is this all legal that we the taxpayers are being stuck paying for HER MESS? People should not be given IVF unless they can pay for the babies on their own.

edit = I also feel a FULL INVESTIGATION into Ms Suleman's finances should be done PRIOR to any more benefits being paid. All of those welfare related benefits are based on your income. Well if she's earning money, guess what, she should pay.

Found this, but still doesn't really elaborate in specifics of the exact nature of help. The 135 K they're talking about is the offer of Angels in Waiting willing to care for the kids for 6 months of care and that normally would cost $135K a month. They won't give her ANY money whatsoever. They will cover her medical & emotional services offered up.

I believe that's what's going on.

I say she should take it. She won't make a dime, can't exploit these kids at all and would get the MENTAL & emotional help she needs. I think THIS may be a very good thing for the children.

:clap: I commend you Alred, for launching the complaint as well. This is the best offer & idea yet for the children. AND Nadya wouldn't have them taken away (for those who want her to keep her kids), it's a win win win all around.

But seriously, I believe she won't take it at all.

No, she's trying to negotiate the 'deal' between the Angels in Waiting and the mom. But Nadya is not answering to her offer. A nurse started & runs the nonprofit group.

Personally if you take time to read the offer, it's a very very good offer. To pay for at least 6 months of medical & emotional help for ALL the children & the mom, to have nurses help her at 8 hour shift intervals, etc..

I think Allred might be the hero in the end for this. Really read what they're attempting to do. It's a very kind thing to help all of them. Isn't that what everyone wants? For this woman to get serious help in all aspects of her life? For me, if nurses were with her all the time helping for the next 6 months plus ++ , she's getting emotional & mental help, she's getting medical bills paid, etc I think she couldn't ask for a better offer ever. AND makes me happy because no $$$ is in her hands directly at the moment.

:blowkiss: aaa, you're welcome. And in return, you're more 'positive' posts towards the octomom has made me rethink my stance & try to have some compassion for her. (Lord KNOWS I'M trying). It's so hard to take children from a mom without major reasons so I guess the better thing would be is to surround her with the support her kids need, give them a healthy happy mom who is facing a lifetime of challenges. The money will go away, the help will go away, her parents are in their 70's and will go away too. So who will she have? I know this woman really does not know what is facing her.

Looking at a $1.25 Million dollar home is a good start telling me that she really is mentally unheathy and not in touch at all with her reality whatsoever. Her parents house is in foreclosure, she just went through bankruptcy recently, I'm not sure if she's delusional or what's going on but she keeps this up, her kids won't be going home with her.

I haven't seen this one, Carrington.

It leads me to believe that Angela and Nadya/Natalie are truly playing "two ends against the middle". Which ever one of them garners sympathy and donations means that all will profit in the end. If I am correct, I hope they spend wisely now as much of this could dry up in the future.

You aren't alone. Hinkey stuff from all involved. But they will please to know that I would never contribute to their causes no matter how contrite they deem themselves.I think the state will come in eventually but when is eventually?

I assume Nadya would know if the kids were in the process of being removed from her care, no? Or does the CPS do everything quietly and then go take custody? I'm not sure how things work in the USA.
