I do agree though, if you have fourteen kids, depending on the government to support them and helping lose your parent's home, you don't need to buy MAC.

Nadya claims her mother was living elsewhere, she and the first six were living in one of gmoms rentals. Gmom claims Nadya never paid rent and she never knew Nadya had been collecting disability. Gmom says her whole retirement goes to caring for the kids.

Gma claimed biodad wanted to be in kids life, wanted to marry Wacko Womb. W.W. says no he just wanted to help her out in her quest to be a mom, since she was still legally married when she had the first several, I guess her husband wouldn't or couldn't provide this service for her.


Now comes the interesting part. Kaiser Permanante Medical Center claims they applied for state aid to pay for the 8 kids care. The state won't recognize an agreement between 2 private parties letting one of the parties off the hook for financial asst.to his children. They are going to hunt down this bio-dad and suck him dry, if the hospital goes through with the application or the bio-dad will have to get a lawyer and relinquish all rights. They still may try and get him for any asst. they pay out before this is settled.

This poor guy's life is about to be ruined, if the state is able to identify him.

Didn't he willingly provide his sperm or was it used without his permission? If ever there was time when a man needed to step up and do the right thing, it's now. These children need help and if not him ..who?

I honestly cannot believe that people would call in death threats against anyone, let alone a woman who has 14 kids who do not deserve to have to be scared to death simply because they are alive.

This woman is clearly not right in the head and no matter what there are still 14 innocent kids who deserve to have a roof over their head and food on the table. So something constructive needs to be done to ensure that they are not in harms way.

This country cannot just stand around while the lives of these children is threatened and do nothing. How would people feel if someone actually follows through with these threats and kills this woman or these children?

what's she going to vacuum? the dirt around her car? News has been reporting their (grandparents) house is up for auction and they will all be shortly evicted.

I believe that even if he isn't legally responsible he has a moral obligation to step up and help his children.

These kids should be the focus and their welfare should be the priority. They are just kids and no child should feel like the the whole world hates them, this is terrible. Something needs to be done, their mother is clearly off her rocker and the state of california needs to ensure that they are taken care of and that their lives are not in danger.

Hi Maur - I don't think the world hates the children 1 bit. I think all of the anger is directed towards the appropriate person, the mother. I think if anything (I know for myself anyway) that I am gravely concerned for all 14 children's welfare and well being. The world is mad yes, but at the actions, inactions and priorities of a woman who gave birth to kids because SHE was missing something in her childhood. The most selfish reason to have children, so THEY (kids) will love HER. So THEY could give HER things she never had in her own childhood. Those are her words, not mine.

She needs help, a lot of help and with the house being foreclosed on, it shows how truly out of touch this woman really is with her reality. I think she's always been a spoiled little brat, always got her way, mommy & daddy always rescued her so she has a very long road ahead of what it means to be a real grown up. Those poor poor babies should be removed now.

I always thought that just because you donated eggs or sperm does not mean you are legally responsible for the children that result. Am I wrong? I thought the purpose of egg or sperm donation was to help people have children, but the donors were not responsible for raising or providing monetary support to the children.

Earlier in this thread there was discussion on the legal responsibilities of the 'sperm' donor and California laws. I understood the conclusion to be the changes in the law have made room for some sperm donors to be financially responsible. Not a good thing for this guy, but by the looks of it, it's a sperm bank that's responsible for her 'illness' not 'one guy' she's sees about 1 time per year.

I'd hate to attempt to add up all her lies, the list would crash WS boards. :crazy:

Yea, I think Octogrampy said it was a false name and some DA said it was a punishable offense I believe up to two years for filing false doc...So Octomom could be in some serious trouble there also.

I agree with Pattycake. I don't think anyone hates the babies. They are beautiful! The intense anger is entirely directed at the mom. For me anyway, I feel scared for the babies. And sad that they may grow up in dysfunction unless adopted out to wonderful families.

Here is a question. Is is possible they would go to foster care for years as mom tries/pretends to get her act together? She no doubt will fight them being adopted, and so would then get visitation? That would be an awful scenario IMO.

I am wondering if getting DNA on the children is on the horizon? With a fake name for the sperm donor and each birth cert. giving different names, dates, etc... I would like to know if they are all actually siblings. I know it sounds dumb, but I really am curious. Who just goes and gives up a bucket of sperm to the local IVF clinic to "help" a friend be pregnant for 8 straight years? :bang:

Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but I'm now hearing about how the grandmother has not been paying the mortgage on the house they live in for almost a year and it's likely they will lose it.
If this is true, it means she planned to get pregnant after things got so bad financially for her mother!! It makes me think even more that she saw this as an answer to a problem (people will donate house if I have multiple births)

I wish there was a perfect answer here, unfortunatly there isn't and it will be the children who will suffer because of it all.

Hi pattycake,

I really am concerned about these children, everyday I think someone is going to hurt this woman and those kids. I know that people are livid with her (rightly so) but with all this anger swirling around her it affects the children the most. When they see how much everyone hates their mother it will affect them psychologically and place them in danger of being mocked by other children and possibly harmed by some nutjob that gets close enough to them.

They need to be removed from her care and placed in some sort of protective custody to ensure that they are safe and taken care of.

I doubt that the hospital will be discharging the infants anytime soon and since some may need expensive aftercare doubt they would simply hand them over to her without a home assessment. In the meanwhile the other children need someone to step up and help them. The grandmother cannot be expected to do much more, since her house is being foreclosed on and she is clearly at her wits end.

While I am certainly not an expert on this, I think that story is incorrect. It is my understanding that the Duggar family OWNS a number of rental houses as part of their business. It is possible that after building their new house---which by the way they did much of that work themselves including their children in the process--they may be renting out their former home now.

I don't think so...I saw them demolish it on TV.

How will Nadya handle the 8 babies (not even thinking about the logistics of the others as well) when they come home from the hospital? I watched a special when the Duggar six were born --they had round-the-clock care from people in the community. Will anyone in the community step forward to help out Nadya, while she keeps busy applying fancy lip gloss with well-manicured fingers?
