The world's oldest mum, who gave birth at the age of 66, says she wants another baby.

Romanian Adriana Iliescu, now 67, gave birth to a daughter, Eliza Maria, in January after a decade of fertility treatment.

She revealed she would like another child as she was presented with confirmation of her feat by the Guinness Book of Records.

She said: "God willing, then yes, I would like another child."

Mrs Iliescu will appear in the Guinness Book of records as the oldest women ever to give birth at 66 years and 230 days old.

But she advised other women to have children while they were young and not follow her example.

Mrs Iliescu, who lives in a two room flat in Bucharest, said: "I sometimes wonder from where my strength comes from, even though I do not feel tired at all.

I don't know BB, but I am starting to think Cass makes up a lot of this crap. Do you think it might just be a picture of Cass just holding a baby?

She has to wait for the baby to cry to remember where she left it.

Where's JBD when you need him?

That is assuming that she can still hear unless the baby howl's. What we need now is a picture of the father!(In my book he is a man of courage.)

What a selfish, selfish woman! Why have a child it is unlikely you will be around to parent?!

I take back my "snide" remark. Looking at this man, and his newest born, can anyone deny that he adores this child? She, his wife, may be a breeding machine, but he certainly looks like a good provider, and parent.
He may not live long enough to see the child enter school, but hopefully will provide for her.

People shouldn't be having children in their senior years. The risks of birth defects is too high - it's selfish of them to have a child simply because they want one. Adoption is a better option.
