Circumstances of Recovery: On 09/17/2016 women were on the golf course when a shirtless man carrying a pickax came out of the woods and said there is a dead guy back in there you ought to call somebody. The women went to the clubhouse and called 911. When Law Enforcement arrived they showed them where they met the man, who was gone by this time. Law enforcement then searched the words and found skeletal remains.

I find it odd LE hasn't compared, or listed as excluded, these remains to Barry Wedgle. Pete Dye Golf Club is within 5 mins walking distance from where he went missing. I wonder whether that's the same golf course where the man with the axe came out of the woods? Google Maps brings up Wedgle's home address (see below) and shows it's in Bridgeport, WV. Meadowbrook is 9 driving mins northward. Even if the Aaron Smith Dr. golf course isn't the one where the decedent's remains were found, or Barry's home isn't located at the Aaron Smith Dr. Bridgeport address, these locations are all still close enough to do a comparison, right?
