Ya, "MD" has gotta be changed to West Virginia, apparently. I just deleted the state, and then took it down when two different sources provided mixed info.

On Oct. 22, the Maryland State Police received a call from a hunter who reported an abandoned vehicle with a broken driver's side window parked in a large pull-off area at the intersection of Lower New Germany Road and Avilton Lonaconing Road in Garrett County. A check of the vehicle registration identified the owner as Aino.

[...]

Aino's stepfather, Dwight White, told the 11 News I-Team that Aino has family connections in Baltimore and that Aino had spoken of going to Baltimore for nursing classes. He said Aino is currently working as a food delivery driver in Morgantown and has recently faced financial difficulties.

White said Aino seemed to just "go off the grid." White said there was no trace of activity on his phone and his bank account had been emptied. White said Aino has no connection to the area of Garrett County that was being searched.

oldest Hassan Aino
last post 10/2019 Aj Aino

Since his bank account has been emptied, I'm assuming they are looking into the last transactions etc. IMO

This sounds ominous with the window being broken. Unless he locked himself out, that just can't be good. Please let this have a good ending for his family and those who know and love this guy.

White says that officials will be looking for fingerprints and forensics from AJ’s car.

[...]

White says nothing happened to AJ’s car until Sunday.

“The car was there a couple days but no window was busted and then Sunday, that’s when they noticed the window was busted and that’s when they started investigating,” White said.

White says that AJ is his step son but has raised him since he was young.

[...]

AJs father says that he hopes AJ’s car and phone records will lead him to finding his son.

Yes, that's what I meant... That the car was abandoned...

=(

I was sorta thinking accidentally killed by a hunter (I know very little about hunting) but the article pretty much says gunshot wound to the head, gun found nearby... so sad that it came to this for him... for those who love him...
