In a post on its official Facebook page, the sheriff’s office said that Jillian Ruth Cain was last seen on July 5 in Gassaway, but did not specify where.

Gassaway is in Braxton County. Does Jillian live in Lewis County? If so, was she visiting someone in Gassaway?

She has quite a lengthy (14 years) criminal history in WV under that name and date of birth. Assault (more than one arrest), public intoxication (several arrests), petit larceny (multiple), disorderly conduct, battery, wrongful occupation (squatting?), threatening phone calls, false report of an emergency, controlled substances, possession of controlled substance without a prescription (think that one was dismissed).
