In a post on its official Facebook page, the sheriff’s office said that Jillian Ruth Cain was last seen on July 5 in Gassaway, but did not specify where.
She has quite a lengthy (14 years) criminal history in WV under that name and date of birth. Assault (more than one arrest), public intoxication (several arrests), petit larceny (multiple), disorderly conduct, battery, wrongful occupation (squatting?), threatening phone calls, false report of an emergency, controlled substances, possession of controlled substance without a prescription (think that one was dismissed). Most recent court action was May of 2024, judgement rendered but no details given. Another record shows she was off probation in late May/Early June.
