State Police in McDowell County are searching for a man reported missing.

Matthew Thomas Miller, 29, from the Skygusty area of the county, was reported missing by family members Monday.

Miller was last known to be in the Bishop and Brewsterdale areas of McDowell County. He was last seen driving a gray in color 2017 Ford F-150 bearing Virginia Registration VYA2418.

A body found in McDowell County, WV, is that of missing veteran Matthew Miller.

The sad news was released Saturday afternoon by West Virginia State Police who confirmed a body found in a remote location of McDowell County is the missing vet. Miller was reported missing on Monday by family members.

According to state police, Matthew Miller was found dead in his vehicle.

State Police say no foul play is suspected.

The investigation is ongoing.
