Found Deceased WY - Aubree Corona, 28, did not return to campsite, Sublette County, 13 Jul 2019

What’s very disheartening is no one seems to know what time she saw the supposed “logger” or “loggers”. The road she supposedly took called Union Pass is a huge hill out in the middle of nowhere. We were confused why she even took that road. This Wednesday or Thursday we hope to see what’s on the other side of Union Pass. Can anyone send a map again of all the places they checked?

I know someone yesterday mentioned using drones to search but have you thought about chartering a helicopter to search some of the more remote areas she was last seen at? It can be expensive so you can also just speak to any of the pilots at some of the local airports/flight schools and ask them to keep an eye out when they go up. My dad was an instructor pilot for helicopters and planes and would often take his students out to deserted areas to fly low. You could ask if you can put up missing flyers at any local flight schools. Can’t hurt to ask.

IMOO, I am a sister and in these circumstances I'd pobably want to talk to my nephew & niece but that would probably be inadvisable.
I hope her babies sitdown with a child psychologist before their memories fade. Maybe Dad or LE has the foresight to request this if nobody else does. Just to be on the safe side IMHO of course.
I may spend too much time her on Websleuths guys, sorry!

As a family we had the same thought! LE was questioned regarding interviewing the 7 y/o (suggested play therapy), however, forensic interview was not conducted until 2.5 weeks after Aubree disappeared by local PD. The other child is only 3 y/o.

Any updates?
How did the BF get home? Did he have another vehicle? Were they camping with anyone else? Did the kids see or hear anything?

We were told that the BF was camping with approx. 10 adults and multiple vehicles and ATVs. As a family we were asked not to approach their camp by LE. Not sure why. Just told to avoid any problems...

Sure. It is entirely possible that law enforcement can't get any search warrants that may help them track down Aubree because an adult is free to go anywhere they want without telling anyone and to date there is no evidence of a crime being committed against her. However, if a crime (Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, for example) is alleged to have been committed by her then law enforcement would be able to obtain any warrants they hadn't been able to obtain previously. Just because a crime is alleged doesn't mean that it has to be prosecuted but it will open the door to getting warrants if that had been a problem before.

Isn't her missing her breathalyzer enough to get a warrant going?

I know that my husband would have done the exact same thing, waiting for me to show up. Her boyfriend knew that Aubree had gotten confused on the forest roads leaving the campsite, so he was waiting in Pinedale to take her back to where they were camping.

After thinking about it, I think so, too. I think they didn't' have cell service at the camp, right? So he had to go to "town" to get it, and he might as well just wait there for her, hoping she would call if she needed help getting "unlost."

Is it possible that Aubree stopped off for a drink because she was just so frustrated with getting lost, and then knew she wouldn't pass the breathalyzer and has taken off? Is there any chance she had a clue how to disable OnStar? Is that something that could be found in the owner's manual in the glove compartment? It's possible BF doesn't want to report the truck as stolen to not get her in any more trouble if this is what happened.

What are her kids saying (if anything) about what happened.
How did the BF get down the canyon?
Family says there was a helicopter fly over preformed, why aren't the reports of that included in the article about the search being suspended.
The article shows where they searched, did they search off the side of those roads as well?
I feel like there are more questions than answers at this point.

I apologize for the slow response! I was just verified to be a VI. The only thing we as a family have been told is that there is a BOLO out for the truck, which we're told will alert LE if the truck is pulled over or in an accident, and Aubree's missing person. Nothing has been said about an APB... We finally were able to get a forensic interview done with the 7 year old child but it was done 2 weeks after Aubree disappeared by the local PD. Not sure if there was anything viable for LE to use. The child had been exposed to adults and people talking for 2 weeks... The boyfriend was at the campsite by the lake and did not go up on the mountain with Aubree. There were multiple vehicles at their campsite so he had plenty of opportunities for transportation home from the campsite. Yes, there helicopter fly overs on Tuesday July 16th. No information has been given to the family other than someone involved with flights told a sibling of Aubree's that they didn't see anything and that they are 75% accurate.
We cannot speak as to the searching done by LE but as a family we got a Forest Service map and ran all the roads, trails and offshoots that we could find on both sides of the mountain. Local residents were also extremely helpful and going out and checking for Aubree as well.

Uncertain as to reason BF chose to sit in front of the sheriff's office on camera for 5 1/2 hours. There was no cell phone service at campsite but BF could have been anywhere in Pinedale and received cell service. LE spoke to BF while he sat in front of sheriff's office. Uncertain of conversation between BF and LE. BF did not report Aubree missing it was her brother who reported her missing during the early evening on Saturday July 13th.

I believe early in this, someone addressed this issue about getting drones out there. Not sure where it was posted (WS or otherwise), but a drone pilot explained that it is very hard to do such searches, where there is a mass of land and water to be explored. Mainly, due to the batteries do not last long enough to explore that much area. He said that helicopters were probably going to be the best bet. I wish they would come out and take a 2nd or 3rd look with them.

Aubree's breathalyzer would have been first thing in the morning. Most LE have very short windows in the mornings and evenings when they perform the tests, generally 1/2 hour to an hour. Our understanding is that even if she would have blown positive on the breathalyzer it would have only been a night or two in jail-not worth running away from. As for the OnStar, that I can't say. It might be something in the owner's manual plus her BF is a mechanic.

TY for posting the Sublette County SO's update, @Knox! As I read that update, I saw that Aubree said she was going to get fuel and food before heading back to camp. I'm guessing that might have been at Dubois. Originally, I thought she turned around to go back to camp right after getting the directions. But, once she was in town, maybe she decided not to take the NF roads all the way back--she had already gotten lost, and she had gotten stuck. Maybe she decided to go back the way google suggested:

Maybe that's why she hasn't been found--instead of being on NF roads, she is on one of the routes google suggested. I sure hope she can be found quickly, and reunited with her loved ones!

ETA: I used the Boy Scout Camp at New Fork because it gave google maps an easier location than "somewhere around the lake."

As a family that was also our thought, especially when nothing was found on either side of the mountain. So we have travelled the roadways from Dubois to Jackson, Jackson to Pinedale, Pinedale to Farson, Farson to Lander (including South Pass and Atlantic City), Lander to Riverton, Lander to Hwy 26 via Hwy 287, Road 132 between Hwy 26 and Hwy 287 and Lander Cutoff off Hwy 28. At any point if we have not been able to see the bottom of the median in the road or the bottom of the sides of the road we stopped and walked that stretch of road checking for any signs of a car/truck going off, broken branches, debris, etc. If it was a ravine we would walk down into the ravine just to verify Aubree was not there. We found nothing.

Is anyone else uncomfortable that the last physical contact Aubree had before going missing was with the logger(s)? The sheriff's FB says "Sublette County Sheriffs Office was able to contact the logger and confirm his contact with Miss Corona," but Corona81 said, "some Loggers helped her get unstuck." The sheriff's FB also says that contact after that was made by text to her friends.

But, if the last contact was made by text, that could have been anyone using her phone. I don't want to jump to any crazy conclusions, but I hope they are really checking into the logger(s). He/they are the ones who gave her directions back to get gas, right?

It was A logger driving a truck whom she followed out of the mountain. As they got to the bottom the logger noticed she was no longer behind him and called LE to report the truck and Aubree. However, the connection between the report on Saturday July 13th was not put together with Aubree until Monday July 15th when her missing person report went out. The last person Aubree texted was her BF stating that she was going to gas up the truck, get some food and a map. Aubree was actually seen by two other people in Dubois after her contact with the logger. A clerk at one of the stores gave her a map and directions on how to drive on the paved roads back to Pinedale as Aubree did not want a map with trails to try to go back up and over Union Pass.

Per my opinion family members had to go back to work! It was never set in stone on leaving on thur.. as if wed most of the campers had left..
