The Moab Stop?
Not "taking a side" about whether Moab LE addressed GP & BL's situation adequately or appropriately.
Simply trying to pinpoint one detail from the all-inclusive vid of stop I watched waaay back, when it was released w. findings of the outside/independent investigator.
IIRC after ~ 45 min. plus of discussion w LEO's initially on scene, a senior LEO (either contacted by phone w those LEO's or later arriving physically at the stop) was DISPATCHED to ANOTHER call & left.
Can anyone give a quote and/or link to what kind of call?
Fuzzy memory here, but seems like it was a drunk man causing a motor vehicle crash or a drug impaired man lying in the street. Does that ring bells w anyone else here? TiA.
IOW, a situation requiring IMMEDIATE LE PRESENCE & ACTION.
In a situation where a third party tells 911 that a man slapped a woman, and the woman (w very minor physical injury) tells LEOs that she initiated the physical violence, etc., how long can LEO's remain there to continue discussion, when there is no apparent imminent danger to either? IDK.
