I'm still trying to get over BL offering the TikToc gal $200. Where would he come up with that much money. I honestly thought these two kids were traveling on a shoestring.

I have my doubts about that TikToker Miranda Baker's story about giving BL a ride. In EVERY high-profile crime like this, you get a variety of attention hogs who come out and publicize how they previously met the suspect. There are new articles and YouTube videos however of interviews with Rose Davis, GP's best friend, who describes BL as being very jealous and controlling. Rose Davis is authentic. The TikTok story about giving BL a ride may or may not be fake.

Here is a map of Grand Teton Nat park; someone posted this yesterday and I want to give them credit as I saved it but i don't know who posted it. I am reposting so we can focus on GP and try to figure out where he may have left her based on the tik-tok video of the couple that picked up BL. I don't know anything about the edit on the map about him getting gas. But maybe we can get closer to where she is along the snake river near colter bay where he was picked up. fyi the water levels in Jackson lake are very low right now. Im focusing on the snake river and how that ties in with where he was picked up. thank you.
That's a great map. Seems like something could have happened on the 28th or early 29th.

I may have missed this statement as it’s hard to keep up. But this reporter says that Brian’s family called police this morning and says he was last seen at the reserve by them and they came here on Tuesday and saw his mustang and drove it home?
—— my questions… were the keys in it? How’d they know to bring them if not?

Why did they not say that last night? They had to have, right? Since it was reported the took articles of clothing to search with?
bbm
Maybe he was never at the reserve ?
Someplace else ?
Good questions about the keys.
Imo.

Secondary pick up spot - he may be long gone now …..
JMO

They're probably wasting their resources and time searching for him. Damn this mess they've created! Poor Gabby, living in that house with all that. JMO

Can someone shed some light on hitchhiking? Is it common practice out west and in Florida? I live on Long Island and it is just not done here (I've seen one or two over the past few years but no one is really going to pick you up!). It is common place for woman to do it as well? As in would Gabby have hitchhiked if she was left alone?

Additionally, does anyone have the video footage where they mention the silver mustang being gone and then returning? Something along the lines of I have been here since ____ and the red truck has stayed? That obviously would narrow it down. How is the parking lot at the preserve? Is there a reason he wouldn't have left it there until he was done with his hike? The only reason I could think that his parents would come back for the car is if they/BL knew it was going to be an extended hike (days?) where he didnt want something to happen to it. It would also mean that he would have to call them to come back and pick him up? Perhaps he had set a date for them to do that and when he didnt call that is when they reported him missing?

All hypothetical and thinking "outloud."
He wasn’t in Florida when he was hitch hiking I can tell you from Ted bundy, Alieen warnanos(sp?) it’s not common

i saw in the Rittenhouse case the feds have infrared drone footage of the whole thing. Pretty wild times for tech surveillance
The Halderson case, with a similar age suspect, has key charging evidence that's from Snap Maps. It's wild that we are at this point where Snapchat keeping all your data can solve a murder.

This has me in fits. It didnt have to come this, him being on the run.

Anyone else wondering if his parents dropped him off in the mustang (because who else would) and someone else picked him up later? Then his parents could say that’s where they thought he was last when he really ended up somewhere else & they’re not aware.

Police didn't question Brian because they never saw him, met with him, talked to him in any way. They did not have access to Brian at all.
I think a lot of people that are not from the US don't understand this cause in other countries the MOST IMPORTANT is the missing not the rights of a maybe criminal...but here... Especially while we are a MAYBE criminal we have rights others wouldn't somewhere else... I I can see why it would be hard to grasp if you didn't grow up learning to stay silent

This doesn't make sense...especially for a family that completely ruin the reputation in order to hide him... "oh here's his car let's hide it in case he needs to get away quick." Yeah right... but I am glad they pulled this stunt because it gave our officers are reason to track this freak down... this will be his ultimate demise

Exactly... and now he quit responding to them and they are worried he killed himself so now all bets are off and they want the help that they wouldn't give...but we will give it to them and I think we should because now we have a reason to search for this asshat
I wonder how far that drop off spot at the park is from a greyhound station. Maybe they took him there first, briefly leaving his car at the alligator park. Sorry, reserve, whatever. To actually draw attention to the car, and his supposed where abouts, opposite of my first thoughts.

Thank you for confirming they were in body armor as I had asked this previously in last thread. So they think he may have a firearm possibly? Im sure that info came from parents
Probably what LE was looking for in the Mustang last night.

When I lived at home my parents had an extra set of keys to me & my brothers cars. The extra set went to them.

Damn... I didn't even think about a bus... You are right...he's not gonna be where the parents say of course

Does anyone know which day it was that the crowds and media started congregating at the Laundrie's house?

I'm thinking their presence there would have really hindered any plans by BL to slip away unnoticed, and it would've made comings and goings by the family (especially if they drove BL's car back home from the reserve) difficult to do covertly.

In the press conference today LE clarified that they showed up at the house and asked to speak to BL. His parents said to speak to their attorney and gave him a card. The NPPD spokesperson said he didn't remember if anyone actually spoke the words that they were invoking their 5th amendment rights but that is how the police interpreted it when the parents and BL refused to speak and directed them to the attorney.

He also said the attorney participated in the call last night by phone and instructed the parents not to discuss Gabby. So they only discussed BL leaving and disappearing.

I am feeling a bit frustrated both with BL’s parents and the LE there. LE also interpreted that BL was in the house, when apparently he wasn’t. Why are they leaving anything to interpretation? Can they not charge the parents with obstruction of justice in an investigation, read them their rights and make them state their intention to invoke the 5th amendment?

Maybe the above can’t legally happen. I don’t know. Between this case and Barry Morphew looking at bonding out next week, I’m just over these men whose partners ‘disappear’. :(

If the ground they are searching is at 7,900 ft, yes.
Ohh, good point, for some reason I wasn't considering altitude from sea level, I was thinking local ground level.

  • #599
He retracted that right by the initial post. They say they don’t have the phones.
I think they have access to phone records but not actual phones ....that's my take on it

I doubt a bus. Pretty sure you need to show ID.
